Highlights
After an incredible inaugural season of the WBS, competition seemed plentiful as stadiums got filled and tickets got sold all over the country and Canada. What seemed like a staked (W)Galaxy Division had 4 teams win over 40 games with two of them winning over 50. That didn't stop the (E)Universe Division. Though the Universe division had three 40 game winners of their own, their best team, The Manhattan Moguls who won 42 games and when it was all said and done it was the Manhattan Moguls holding the championship in a grueling seven games series that Manhattan Moguls won 111-106 to capture the first ever World Basketball Stars Trophy.

Top WBS stories of 2012:

- Bar Harbor Crabbing Co. group fail to land an owner as their pursuit to land local High School phenom Noah Archer as a possible draft pick in 2013 may hinge on if they aren't able to acquire an owner before the draft. The WBS trust are requiring Bar Harbor have an owner before doors to the 2013 season open if they wish to stay in Bar Harbor after the 2013 season.

- Manhattan Moguls Owner Davis N. Anton was already threatening to sell the team if they didn't capture the first title.

- Bar Harbor places crabbing company CEO Mark Fish as owner of Bar Harbor to meet requirements set out by WBS trustees. Soon after Bar Harbor receives the 5th overall pick in the 2013 draft and vows to trade up to get their guy.

- Many fans and league officials are calling for the WBS to already change it's draft system after 50 win team Seattle lands with the third overall pick. They had less than a 5% chance to land the 3rd pick and did. There is already a draft being passed around to run the draft from last place to champion, this draft would have to receive majority vote by the WBS trust.

- Local Bar Harbor Phenom, Noah Archer who is projected to go 1st overall in the 2013 WBS draft straight from high school stock begins to fall as a late night interview with Conan O'Brien reveals he may not want to play, according to Noah "If my life is basketball, Do I even have a life. I think my life is at sea" This has many owners beginning to make back up plans.

Top WBS stories of 2014:

- 2014 seems to have been a turning point for the direction of the league. Concern over lack of parody in the Universe division is starting to grow as one team with 41 wins and one team under .500 once again make the playoffs while a 49 win team in the Galaxy division was left out the playoffs. Fans, officials and team owners held their breath as the draft selection would be the defining moment for WBS. Once again, A 49 win team and WBS champions Black Rock acquired 3rd and 5th overall picks which send sports investors, fans and journalist to question the legitimacy of WBS and claim that it is being set up for storyline like wrestling.

- In surprising moves, Black Rock, Oakland and Seattle trade into the first round giving their respective teams 2 draft picks each.

- Owners around the league are calling for a league wide off season summit to discuss changes in league rules and policy.

- Huge controversy as 2014 3-point champion Ben Graves was accused of beating on a women who was said to had mislead Mr. Graves before admitting she was born a male outside of a New York City night club after being swept by the Scorpions in WBS championship. Soon after Mr Graves was released from the Manhattan Moguls. Pending league wide investigation, after closed door settlement the accuser retracted their statement and Mr Graves signed a deal with Oakland during the draft.

- 55 wins, a Championship ring and 2 time winning coach does not equal happiness as players from Back Rock are starting to voice their displeasure with head coach Neila Redeal. one unanimous player said "We get being tough and no nonsense, but the awards have gotten to coaches head, she is displaying a total lack of respect for the men in that locker room who got her those trophies"

- Noah Archer earns All League 1st team along with scoring title, Says "I'm kind of getting bored"

- The WBS lost one of it's own as wife and secretary of Poffo Von Savage, Mrs Lisa Beth suddenly dies in a car accident a week before the draft. Some say Poffo Von Savage was spiraling out of control and some investors asked that Mr Von Savage take a leave for 1 season. Poffo Von Savage refused stating "The show must go on, Yeah, the show must go...on, oh Yeah!"

- Shocking trade at the draft as Vancouver Freeze trades 2 time rebounding champion Center Wei-quo Lai for 3-point ace Brandin Bland. Fans are not happy with Poffo Van Savage trading away their franchise Big Man. Call for Von Savage to be removed due to emotional instability.

SEASON 4 (2015)
Highlights
In the biggest news, 7 of the 10 owners expedited summer meetings for a vote to take place over draft lottery rules before the 2015 draft. No longer will WBS function under all teams having progressively worst chances to land top 3 picks depending on record, now all Non playoff teams will have equal chance at top 3. It passed 7-3 and as soon as the draft began Seattle traded into the top five spot after landing the number #8 pick giving them two picks in the first round. Former Slam Dunk champ Ben Wane finds new home in Vancouver only to have his contract voided after arriving to his contract signing late, he later resigned with Seattle and had another great season. Seattle used it's #5 to draft Fender Esquire which some are calling the steal of the draft. League wide support for new draft system has ratings soar through the roof during draft as teams look to prioritize landing TV deals in their respective cities by 2019. Galaxy destroys Universe 170-152 to capture third All Star game title despite 47 point game from Sam Rose of Black Rock. Panama's Richard Karcher's 30 points and 19 assist and Storms Noah Archers 37 were just to much. Black Rock Scorpions, first team to reach over 60 wins in WBS history wining a whopping 63 games. Another thrilling first round match as once again Black Rock defeats Seattle Grunge 4-3 as the go on to win a second consecutive title.

I started college right when the league formed and it gave me hope, goals and aspirations and to see a moron like Noah Archer taking it for granted makes me sick, he's a bum" Archer has yet to respond. Instead these two met in the first game of the season with Archer leading the Storm to a win with 40 points while Esquire logged in 18 and was then sent down to the D-League infuriating squire. After the game Archer was asked about Esquire's comments as Archer with responded with "Who the hell is that"

- Noah Archer loses scoring title 31.1 to Richard Karcher 31.2, but Noah's season performance was enough to push Bar Harbor to their first ever playoff appearance.

In the finals, Black Rock Scorpions with defensive specialist Zac Norvelle a late game scratch due to unknown circumstance,  won by 14 in a thrilling OT victory on the efforts of Larry Tarts triple double of 38 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assist and 4 blocks. His performance was just to much for Noah Archer and the Bar harbor Storm.

- After the game, defensive specialist Zac Norvelle contacted Black Rock investment and let them know he would not be coming back as he demanded a trade after being benched for the entire game 7 in what he says was a disagreement with how coach Neila Redeal was using him.

- Minnesota Owner King Rogers Nelson accuses Seattle Grunge owner Freddy Beddar of foul play and request league wide investigation after Seattle lands the #1 pick after making the playoffs and after a year where the rules were changed to prevent playoff teams from landing the #1 overall spot. If we want this league to prosper we need to control what a player can ask for, if they don't like it, they can quit" after hours of deliberation, owner agree on a hard cap with a 10-0 vote and remove bird rights from players in a 6-4 vote. One owner stating "Bird rights lets us sign our guy for how ever amount of money we want without worrying about the cap, why would they vote on this' "Kurt Grunge responded "We need more parody, smaller market teams need a chance to grow in order for the league to Survive" . SEASON 7 (2018)
Highlights
First act of business for owner Poffo Von Savage in his return to running the team was to sign Russian phenom and son of agent Krillin Gobochov Babyaga as the young rookie signed a 2 year 3.6 Mil dollar contract with the help of his new agent, his DAD! The new hard salary cap along with a players union saw some casualties as Oakland renounced their rights to All Star, Nate Street. It also saw some teams going all in as Manhattan Moguls swooped in late to make offers to two former all stars, Houston's assist man Dustin Gilchrist and inside post man and scorer from bar Harbor Earl Tarver. Wanting to go for a three peat Earl resigned with Bar Harbor for less money which caused Moguls to sign All star PG Nate Street and steal defensive specialist Zac Norvell right from under Black Rock Scorpion's nose at the 12th hour of free agency. Kasey Gobochov Babyaga delivers with 31 points, 4 assist and 3 rebounds to open the season. Fender Esquire returns in December and continues where he left off winning the 3 point contest and leading the Universe All Stars to another all star victory pouring in 37 points. Larry Tart of Vancouver Freeze is the first player in WBS history to score 10,000 points. First round of the playoffs gives us a Seattle/ Black Rock rematch and the most anticipated playoff game with Archer VS Fender as Bar Harbor takes on Manhattan and we see two new hero's step up in both series.

Top WBS stories of 2018:

- On February 2nd during a game against Smokey Mountain mist, Noah Archer walked off the court after having played 1 minute and scoring two points. Rumors have it that he was seen with his head down covered with a towel in the locker room. after the game in an interview with Barry Tripmore, Noah stated "The monotony, I apologize to all my fans that were there to see me play, but....the monotony"

- Ahead of the All Star game, Noah Archer removes himself from the Slam Dunk Contest and the All Star Game. He was seen leaving Panama City 30 minutes after he arrived. Agent Jay Beemer made a statement, " My client has been dealing with a number of injuries' both physically and dealing with personal issues regarding his own mental well being, he does hope to finish out the season, there will be no further comment"

- Some feel Kasey G. Babyaga was snubbed in the All Star game despite average 20 PPG, his father Krillin feels the same and is not happy with bar Harbor coach.

- Bar Harbor was sitting in 3rd place at the All Star when Archer took his leave of absence and Manhattan was sitting uptop the standings. Weeks later Archer returns and powers Bar Harbor into first place as Manhattan loses the final 5-10 games. Both teams clinch.

- Brian Graves has told the league he would be seeking a lawyer after being released and not hired again amid pressure from outside sources.

- Even with Noah Archer averaging 39 PPG, Manhattan and Fender Esquire were just to much for Bar Harbor as they took out the defending 2 time champions. Fender later stated "I don't like to beat a man when's he's down even if I don't like him, but I am happy that I am giving Noah all the time he needs to figure things out" He then went on to smiles and walk away from the interview.

- Scorpions Guard Sam Rose stepped up and carried Black Rock to another finals against Manhattan averaging 26 PPG and 7 APG.

- After owners vote to create a hard salary cap and remove bird rights, Karcher calls for an all players meeting during the owners summit in his home city of Panama City. Jax Rummy, owner of the Breakers hosted the event for his star player as over 200 players showed up from both D-League and WBS. The main topic was agents, guaranteed money and representation. All the players now seemed to be on the same page as the vote to unionize won by uniramous decision. One player said "We wouldn't have come together if it wasn't for the owners suddenly showing how greedy they truly are."

- Fender Esquire and Manhattan Moguls set out to win it all and did just that by beating the Black Rock Scorpions 4-3. Fender led the way averaging 31.2 PPG and 5APG. Local papers and New York media are claiming Fender might have saved Manhattan and is now King of New York.

- After tons of red tape and court hearings between Newly formed players union and the newly formed ownership group, a court has ruled that due to the lack of communication and inability to resolve issues such as playoff teams acquiring high draft capital through trades, contracts that were grandfathered or teams trying to get out of contracts pointing out loop holes, the court ordered that season 18 will be played without any trading going.

- Brian Graves has filed for an injunction that WBS hire him or pay him for defamation of character and loss of wages.

- Word coming from Noah Archer's camp is that he might have played his last game in the WBS[/i]

- Jenny James and other female athletes have requested the help from NCAA to open discussion about a Pro Females league or allowing women to tryout in the summer league games of the WBS. Neila Redeal was asked during the playoffs how she felt about either, She stated " I have seen the women play, I have been around the women's game and I will lose a lot of support for this but they just won't be able to compete. It will be embarrassing for all parties involved, women's sports and men's are both equally important but are not on the same level, by far" Jenny James insisted that Neila Redeal has set everything back and believes if the only women coach doesn't support it that it will never happen unless the women start their own league.

Babayaga 35 points was not enough to win the All Star game as Galaxy has dropped four consecutive all star games to Universe who was lead by 34 points from Cedric Jensen and 38 points and 21 assist from Richard Karcher. Former rookie of the year stars J.J Burton, Kurt Berry, Marques Merton, Kasey G. Richard Karcher is first WBS player to 15,000 points. For the first time in WBS History the playoffs do not show case Black Rock, Seattle, Bar Harbor or Manhattan. K.G Babayaga and F. Esquire fall short of scoring title, both respectively averaging 23.8 PPG to a red hot Richard Karcher who averaged 24.4 adding another assist title averaging 8.8 APG. Former two time MVP Larry Tart and former ROTY K.G. Babayaga carry Vancouver to their first 50 game win season and their first playoff since 2013. Two former ROTY winners clash in the paint and in the playoffs as forward Marques Merton (SMO) and center Kurt Berry (PAN) collide in the first round the playoffs as Veterans and former world champs Larry Tart (VAN) and Damien Worthing (HOU) meet in the first round. Larry started stated "We have some talented young players elevating this league but us veterans aren't ready to hand off the baton just yet" After demanding owners create a hard salary cap to further create parody, forward thinking Seattle Grunge owner Kurt Grunge see's instant dividends as four new teams make the playoffs. Vancouver owner Poffo Von Savage stated "Grunge put each team in a position to be the cream and rise to the top, Ohh Yeah, I think we need to make sure every team in this league has their priorities at the front and stop letting these investment firms control league. I think we really need to use our mental capacity to think about ways to better the league and I think making sure each team has an individual owner is a start. Investment groups like Manhattan and Black rock are no good, Yeah, NO GOOD, I SAID IT!"

Highlights
Manhattan investment firm hints at the possibility of sale even after Moguls won the title 2018. A few buyers are lining up including Waylan Hagan and widowed wife of former Pro wrestler and HIFL GM Eddie Phoenix, Pilar Phoenix are currently some names that have surfaced. Bar Harbor hires second female coach to be an assitant when they hired Natalie Mosley. Richard Karcher's 37 points  and 14 assist was not enough to power the universe past Galaxy which saw Kasey. G. Babayag scored 57 in 38 minutes. One year after he help lead Vancouver to the playoffs, Kasey.G. Babayaga finds himself in a bidding war between Black Rock Scorpions and defending champs Houton Snipers, Black Rock was the sure team to sign him until a sudden change of heart had him sign with Houston Snipers. For the first time in WBS short history, the playoffs line up exactly the same as the previous year. Seattle's surge of winning 9 games to make a push was dwarfed with Houston going a perfect 10-0 to finish the season. We have co-op scoring champs, both players ending the season averaging 26.6 PPG and both meet in the World Stars Championship. Breakers head back to give us a rematch of the 2013 finals when they faced Vancouver Freeze and won 4-3. After Derion Williams goes from ROTY to league MVP he carries the Freeze past Houston in a grueling seven game series in which he scored 41 points and the last 17, The carries leads Vancouver to their first ever title becoming the playoff MVP. Top WBS stories of 2019:

-WBS summer summit bring all owners and investments groups together to vote on all teams being owned by one individual CEO and president and no more investment groups. The vote past 9-1 and starting 2022, all teams will have full individual owners. Kurt Grunge once again brought forward thinking to the league and requested that the league open their rule books to amend a new rule allowing any female with at least 4 years of college to tryout with teams in a small 2 year window, After two year it can be voted on again. One owner stated "It's this type of thinking that will lead the WBS but we have to be careful and make sure we are doing this to give capable women opportunity and not because we are giving in to threats or bad publicity" Doors will be opened for this summer league tryouts for any 4 year female athletes to come try out. Some others are hesitant and do not agree but the vote passed 6-4.

-Rumors are flying about many players being shopped in Manhattan, Fender Esquire has not been a topic but some wonder if their last place finish last year and 4th place this year was a sign of the window has closed after their title run and the investment group is about to sell.

- After the Summit Kurt Grunge was asked why wouldn't they allow females to come out of high school or have any amount of time in college like the men, he stated "We want to make sure the females whoa re coming in the league to compete have fully matured and developed to bang around with these guys. We don't want an 18 year old 6'1, 125 pound female going down the lane and having to face a guy like Steve Ausler or rookie Hingle McCringleberry Jr. We also want a level of maturity and understanding this is a physical game and if they are going to come and play they understand they are competing with other men for a great opportunity"

- Jenny James was asked about Kurt Grunge's comments and said "I do appreciate that someone spoke up for us,  and I agree, and I am sending a message to any ladies who want this opportunity, these guy's will not give us anything, all we want is a shot and I speak for myself when I say, rather I make it on a team or not, you won't here it was because I am a female"

SEASON 10 (2021)
Highlights
With the Leagues 10th year opening, it has performed consistently ands table but now has the United States sports commission and law makers who propose federal gambling laws step in and initiate the the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act. Now that each team will have an individual owner, each franchise is now a validated sports and betting commodity to each city and state. It must now have a commission within it's league which is to be run by a single commissioners and bodying mediators, moderators, lawyers and financial advisors. This means the WBS is now an active U.S professional sports franchise that is backed by state and federal laws of professional basketball. What does this mean, well it means now each team must have an individual owner, GM, Coach and a commissioner to oversee the entire league. The owners group votes Kurt Grunge as president of the owners association. At the announcement, Kurt states all owners old and new must hire general Managers to handle the day to day business and deal with the players union. Owners will no longer to deal directly with issues and activities pertaining to players, he then follows up by saying "As owners our jobs should be giving directions as to our expectations, signing checks and drinking tequila in our private Jet's"

....Now back to the highlights
It's a new day

Bling Gracious           Jenny James

As new rules allow women to join summer leagues Ohio State star Jenny James and Brian Graves, excuse me Bling Gracious shows up to the summer league. Ben...Bling Gracious shows up in full drag announcing that he Is now a trans-female and identifies as a woman. After a dominating performance in the summer league, Vancouver steps in and brings in Ben, Sorry, I mean Bling Gracious on a 2 year deal.  To prove it wasn't a joke they also sign Ohio State women's star athlete Jenny James to a 2 year deal. When asked about the signing Poffo Von Savage stated, " I know, pure madness right, a perfect storm, but the truth of the matter is, if we are going to be about opportunity then we must be about giving it more then just talking it. I believe this is something my beautiful Mrs. Liza Beth would have wanted, right now she is smiling in heaven, at the top of the thrown, ARMS UP IN THE AIR, SCREAMING....OHHH YEAHHHHHH!!!" Then he went on to sign veterans Ben Wane, Larry Tart and Sam Rose. Vancouver team mates very open to playing with former Brian Graves and now Bling Gracious. Sam rose stated "We cool, Ben, I mean bling is cool, They already told me that I don't need to worry, they aren't into men that they are lesbian and only into women" Oakland Hustle sure up their defense by signing 3 time champion Zac Norvell. Richard Karcher and Kasey G. Babayaga put on a show, going back and fourth during the entire all star game but the story was Transgender athlete, Bling Gracious who went on to pour in 30 at the all star game on 11-12 shooting as he....she, um, they win the game with a last second 3 pointer at the buzzer to secure the win. Rookie Hingle McCringleberry Jr shows up to all star game sporting new look of colorful hair, tattoos and piercings, a very different look then when he was drafted, he spoke after about his 16 point performance and stated "Life gets boring so sometimes you got to not only bring the party but be the party" In an unbelievable moment, Mist late season surge leads to controversial ending as they tie Manhattan with the tie breaker being head to head record which was also ties as the next tie breaker was division record Manhattan Mogul investment group announces sales and concedes playoff spot which puts Mist in the playoffs as we have a trifecta rematch of the last two years playoff scenario.  Leading to Panama City Breakers and Vancouver freeze meeting for a second consecutive time as once again Super star Darion Williams lead the Vancouver over a dominating 4 game sweep of Panama City giving the Freeze their second consecutive title.

-New Commissioner must be named before League can interview general managers

- Star of Houston Snipers, Johnny Walls ruptures MCL a game after the all star break and it fuels a Houston team towards second place and 56 wins.

- Controversial moment in January when Jenny James won Rookie of the month averaging 11 PPG .2 APG .4 RPB and 1.2 SPG but some don't agree and feel it was a marketing strategy to appeal to more women as she beat out rookie Simon Harris who posted 14 PPG, 1.2 APG, 3 RPB, .2SPG.

- For 16 straight weeks Kasey G. Babayaga and Fender Esquire trade player of the week awards.

- A week before the end of the season, Vancouver rookie Jenny James suffers a horrific career ending injury, while driving down the lane she pumps fake as Manhattan's 6'10 304 pound big man Ledarion Robinson takes the fake and goes up but comes down on Jenny James awkward as she goes up and both fall to the hardwood. Fans in the first four rows said they heard a thud then an agonizing scream as Ledarion tries to get up quickly and notices Jenny James Forearm broken as part of the jagged bone is sticking out her arm. The blood caused the game to be postponed to be finished at a later date when the teams met. Lissette Lobowski caught up with the big man and he seemed shook in his response "I never meant for that to happen, the young lady had a bright future. I feel horrible"

- After Vancouver clinches the #1 overall seed with 59 wins, Former MVP George Braswell retires right before the playoffs begin.

- Controversy may lead in investigation as Manhattan sells the team to GM of the Omaha Explorers and son of deceased HIFL Gm Eddie Phoenix, Eddie Phoenix JR. The league believes the price of conceding his playoffs spot was another #1 pick.

-Fender Esquire was infuriated leaving the arena in Manhattan, "This is bullshit, absolute bullshit. I play my ass off and he they concede it. The new owner is going to have to really convince me to stay because right now I want out"

-Bling Gracious captures his first champions ring, as he takes the podium he rips off his weave and pulls off his eye lashes and begin to talk "I want to say after exploring myself I realize that I actually identify with a man but it's a shame they wouldn't let me play as a man so I had to become Bling Gracious. So I am thankful for Poffo Von Savage, he went through hard times and through those hard times he found forgiveness and empathy. He found knowledge and confidence and did the right thing by signing me even though I had to pretend to be a women. I apologize to Jenny James who was runner up but they took this game away from me for 3 years, so I don't intend to give it back. So to all all the naysayers, to the protesters and all the teams that didn't give me a chance, here I am holding the World Basketball Stars championship and there is nothing you can do to take this away, I formerly retired on top, Brian Graves, World champion"

-Noah Archer was seen at the championship game sitting with Bar Harbor Investors. He was unavailable for comment but rumors have it he is will be made part owner of the team.

GM Lucas

#10
SEASON 11 (2022)
Highlights
With the league teams now hiring GM's for the first time in league history, we saw some remarkable trades and epic blunders. Some GM's planted seeds for greatness and others weren't around long enough to warm up a seat. Season started off hot with rivalries being born in Texas and Smokey Mountain. Others continued their battles in Manhattan and Far Harbor as Oakland planted their flag as the new team to beat. A season that started off with Jules Jackson being named new commissioner. A job that instantly thrusted the new head honcho into contractual turmoil as players opted out creating what was called the "Kill Switch" Many super stars opted out of mega deals seeking longer terms and even more money. Their decision became regrettable as a salary cap was instituted nearly causing a WBS Strike. With Agents being hired and new contracts structures being created many players opted in for one to 2 year deals and very few sought out to play in the International basketball Association. In other news, we saw Panama City Breakers hire a GM in GM Justin, who drafted a player considered to be the best player in the draft in Jared Anderson only to bail on the team leaving them without a superstar as Jackson declined to continue his career in the WBS and head over to the International basketball league and put them on the map. Others soon would follow. Brockport star Lucas Fonseca was drafted #1 overall despite Anderson being heralded as the clear favorite by nearly all ESPN analysts. That did not sway GM Gooch as his decision paid off ten fold. Lucas would go on to average more than 29 points a game during the season, 36 ppg in the playoffs, win both 3-point and Slam dunk titles, rookie of the year, WBS first team and a title to top it off. Jared Anderson has made it clear he plans to come back and challenge Lucas to remind the fans who is the best player in the league. Sources speculate Xavier Fonseca, Lucas's older brother and defensive studd from  St John's university is looking to enter the draft. Panama would play hard and eventually appoint Secretary Ava Swann as new GM and she quickly cleaned out and sent superstar PG Kurt Berry to Black Rock for a slew of picks and players putting Panama in great position alongside Minnesota who both teams now own 4 of the first 5 draft picks in this year's draft.

....Now back to the highlights
With the arrival of rookie sensation Jared Anderson other stars who were not made offers also departed for the IBA , stars like Guards Greg Barnes and son of Commissioner Jules Jackson, Morgan Jackson also left followed by  SF forward Earl Tarver and Rookie sensation Center Scott Jefferson.all followed to the IBA and brought instant credibility to blooming league. While Jared Anderson, Greg Barnes and Morgan Jackson have shown plenty of interest in coming back, others have not.

Retirement News
-Shocking news as future hall famer and player union president, Richard Karcher of Panama City Breakers has called it career. Richard Karcher a 5 time league MVP, World Champion, 2 time scoring leader, 5 time first team all pro is stepping away from the game to focus on being the full time Player Unions president. When asked about his decision Richard stated ...

" I thought we were in a good position to make a run, but seeing how we are looking towards the future the draft I think it's time for the young blood to come in and establish themselves. Ava Swann has a focus and my presence would just be in the way of her or any GM who may come after her. If I was at the top of my game I would ask for my release and look to try and get more title but as we can all see, I'm not getting younger. This league has a wealth of talent with CGB, Lucas Fonseca, Fender, Kurt Berry, Chadwick, Merton, it's their time. I am no longer at the top of my game, and I just can't see myself hanging around on someone's bench and I can't see myself taking the spot of a young talented baller because of my status. I was lucky to be in the league since it's inception and have one hell of a career but now it's time to look forward. in basketball years. I am old, but as of today right after I announced my retirement I am very young again"

Ricard Karcher leaves behind a legacy of one of the most liked, respected, decorated and talent players the WBS or any sport has ever seen.
