"I MEAN AT THIS POINT IM ALSO WAITING FOR REBEL TO PAY WHATEVER HE TOLD GATES HE WOULD EVEN THOUGH ID  LIKE HIM TO PAY MORE

THAT SAID GATES IS THE ONE WHOSE IDEA IT WAS TO CREATE THE FUND SO I FEEL LIKE DEBATING THE SEMANTICS OF HOW HE SHOULD USE IT IS MISPLACED TO ME

I GET BEING MAD ABOUT IT BUT WERE IN THE POSITION WERE IN AND WHATS RIGHT AND WHATS JUST WONT NECESSARILY COME TO PLAY

PERSONALLY ID RATHER GET THIS DONE WITH AND GO THE BALL DONT LIE APPROACH WITH ANYONE THATS NOT DOING THEIR PART

ID LIKE TO FEEL COMMISSIONER WILKINSON AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE OWNERS WILL PASS ON ANYONE THATS ACTING IN A MANNER THATS SELFISH OR JEOPARDIZING THE WELL BEING OF THE LEAGUE TO THEM AND ANYONE THATS ACTING CRAPPY WILL GETS WHATS COMING

BUT IVE ALREADY SIGNED IT SO OBVIOUSLY WE KNOW MY STANCE"

GM Stark

Seconded what Big Dog said.

GM Gates

GM GATES LETS OUT A LONG SIGH AFTER HAVING A LOT OF TIME TO SIT AND THINK ABOUT THE SITUATION.

All we needed to do was come together for one fucking day and make this work, and we couldn't even do that. We couldn't agree to a deal that would wipe the slate clean. And if what Ms Rockafeller says is true, if someone is indeed still trying to poach players while we are trying to figure this out, then we don't deserve to have the slate wiped clean.

I've taken a lot of shit as GM Rep and yet I tried to find a peaceful resolution to all of this. I tried to figure out a way with minimal loss, I was planning to sacrifice my own draft picks to make it happen, but that apparently wasn't good enough. Even though no one would have suffered, other than Orlando, the solution wasn't good enough. People wanted a better result without offering suggestions. And I don't just mean for those in attendance here. I have a bunch of text messages from other GMs who somehow figured out about it, and they aren't happy with it. Saying it's not enough, too much, go fuck yourself, whatever.

And I'm done with it.

There will be no further compensation payment made to the PFL. Rebel and Orlando may have paid some money but maybe people are right and we should hold the screws to Orlando for putting us in this situation. Maybe we need to hold the screws to everyone for not being able to come together on a simple matter. I don't know and frankly I don't care anymore.

Mr Profits, I apologize for wasting your time. I do believe there is a way for both leagues to coexist and work together peacefully, but it's obvious that not everyone wants that. That some people would rather watch things burn and incite a war.

I do hope that the next GM Rep is able to work well with you to smooth everything out come the off season because I resign as GM Rep for the HIFL GMs.

GM GATES TAKES A DEEP BREATH.

I'm heading back to Miami.

WITH THAT GM GATES GETS UP FROM HIS SEAT, TURNS, AND LEAVES THE ROOM AND THE SUMMIT.

GM Oldfield

I think some people need to go open a dictionary or thesaurus and learn what 'summit' means. But I digress.

Thanks for your time ladies and gentlemen. I'm sorry this couldn't have turned into the open discussion and frank exchange of ideas that it promised to be.

GM Stark

STARK SHAKES HIS HEAD, HE STANDS UP, PATS GM BIG DOG, GOOCH, AND CORY ON THE BACKS AS A SOFT FAREWELL, AND THEN MAKES HIS EXIT. THE LOOK ON HIS FACE WAS CLEARLY THAT OF SOMEONE WHO KNEW WAS GONNA BE COMING AT THE LEAGUE'S FRONT DOOR. WAIT...

...

STARK DOUBLES BACK FOR HIS PEN AND HEADS BACK TO SEATTLE.

GM Yount

*GM BIG DOG rubs her temples*

"WHY

GM Yount

*She gets a notification on her phone about her fellow GMs latest tweets, but chooses to ignore it*

"COMMISH CAN THE BIG DOG GET A RESET HERE

I KNOW THE OWNERS ARE YOUR DEAL MORE THAN US GMS BUT

DID THAT MONEY IN THE GM FUND DISAPPEAR INTO THE ETHER SINCE WE DONT HAVE A REP NOW OR IS IT JUST ON HOLD

I KNOW THINGS ARE GOING

NOT IDEAL

BUT I SHOWED UP TO THIS MEETING TO SEE THIS THING THROUGH SO IF ANYONE ELSE HERE IS STILL WILLING TO DISCUSS THINGS LET ME KNOW

I DONT KNOW MAYBE IM JUST DUMBER OR MORE STUBBORN THAN EVERYONE ELSE THAT SHOWED UP BUT IM NOT LEAVING IF THERES STILL WORK TO DO AND WE HAVENT FLATLINED YET"

GM Wayne

Yes, I came to work toward a solution that suits everyone, not to quit because people started putting their cards out on the table and things got challenging.

Ms. Wilkinson, given that Ms. Rockefeller has noted that she believes a player from her roster is, at the very least having an attempt made at being poached, will you put a moratorium on our own league office, shutting down any transaction filing until this gathering has concluded?

And to you, Mr. Profits, I noticed that there is no representative from Boise here. Would it not be best to have both organizations who were on the wrong end of GM Rebels decision making to have appropriate representation. I believe that would be a Ms. Amy Kits or the legend himself Omer Sasser.

Talon

Ms. Waters, I am working feverishly with the league office legal team to process this information as quickly as possible.

As it stands, the GM Emergency Fund sits at $14MM but with the resignation of GM Gates there is legally no way to access the funds in any capacity.

The GM Fund was not created by the league office and we have no authority over it, once money is in, we can not pull it out unless authorized by the GM Rep.

The GM Rep is currently vacant, and from what I was just told by my legal team, the rules of the GM Union require a full vote from the rest of the general managers in order to elect a new GM Rep.    This is unprecedented as we have never had a GM rep step down, but we must now go through the process of electing a new GM Rep, which I am trying to do as we speak.

Mr. Wayne, as I said previously, there is no rule against signing players from the PFL, so until we have an agreement in place, I can not stop a team from signing a player.  I have sent a message to each of the club owners, but it would take a unanimous vote to stop transactions mid-season.  I am trying to work a lot of angles at once, so bare with me.

GM Yount

"THANKS FOR CLARIFYING

I REALIZE THIS IS A SHIT SANDWICH WITH A PISS SPREAD YOUVE BEEN SERVED HERE AND APPRECIATE YOUR POSITION "

GM Wayne

Of course. Obviously the situation is very fluid. I thought perhaps you would be able to instruct the employees of the league office to simply not process anything until the summit is complete. Give them the day off. But I recognize that you are bound by the rules that were pre-established.

Mr. Porsche, are there other avenues of repayment that you would find acceptable? The 10 million you seek may not be currently available and may not be available any time soon.

Or would you be willing to lower said price tag if we were to include the offer of the expansion draft format to pick a player from the Orlando Stampedes roster?
