After this, all Combbbine and Scouting Combine interviews will be sent out i they havent been prior to.

Once we clear this deadline I will expect you to start putting together your draft boards and I will post a start time for the draft.

UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENCY PERIOD (UFA)

After the HIFL Draft there will be three more "days" of UFA negotiations before the start of the free for all period.

The following options are available for GM's to use during each day of UFA.

Text Message to Agent
This option is a simple PM with no other information other than the years, salary, and PR on your contract offer.  Any other dialog other than very standard pleasantries will result in moving up to the next level of offers.
-  This option only provides a reply or counter offer if the player is extremely interested in playing for your team.

Phone Call to Agent -
This option allows you to pm an offer to the agent, along with your vision for that player on the team (sales pitch for the deal). 
- This option will provide you with a counter offer if you are one of the top two teams to offer this player a contract.

In-Stadium Meeting -
This option allows you to bring the player in to the teams facility, give a tour of the building, training facilities, and of course the hall of champions.  This will give you a face to face with the player and his agent, but in your teams home.  You can also bring in multiple players (each using its own time) together to attempt to sell them on playing together.
- This option provides you with a reply/counter offer if you are in the top 5 offers the player has received.  This option also causes the players preferences to be weighed heavier than text and phone calls.

In home visit with Player and Agent -
This option allows you to travel to the players home to meet with him, giving you an even stronger platform to make your sales pitch, showing the player how important he is to your franchise.  You may spend bonus money to enhance the experience and give your offer a slight boost. 
- This option will receive a reply/counter offer unless you grossly insult the player/agent with a low ball offer.


At the end of each "day" of free agency signings will be posted/announced via news or in a PM.  Any player who does not accept your offer is still considering it, but you may not hear back from them at all until they either accept or pass on your deal at the end of the final day of free agency.



Once the Free for all period of Free agency begins all offers are reset and you must re-offer any player you wish to sign, even if you already have an offer on the table that they did not accept or decline.




Each UFA day GM's will be allowed to use the following:
- 1 in home visit OR 2 in-stadium visits
- 4 phone calls
- 10 text messages
- 3 UDFA offers

You are not required to use all available offers, but if you exceed them on any single day you will forfeit all offers (they will not be considered) and you will be fined by the league.



If you run out of free agent offers, you will have to wait until the free agency period ends (it will be announced).

At that time you will be able to call agents into your office just like you do mid-season, to sign a player who is still a free agent.

ALL -- if you have not seen your offers accepted in the news this last round, you will need to pursue those players in your team thread/free for all.

The sim told me I had no more room for offers and had to sim -- it accepted its offers and any offer that wasnt accepted is deleted so you will need to re-offer them in your team thread.

DEADLINES:

Nov. 11th -  Training Camp will be simmed. anyone not on your roster at training camp will miss the training, team building/chemistry, and any off-season training benefits that normally come with training camp. 


Nov. 25th -  All teams must be locked in.    Any team unlocked after the 25th will be autolocked and will have to play the season with the amount of players they have a the time of the lock in.   Any team over cap or lacking minimums will have to deal with those consequences.
