INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF AMERICAN FOOTBALL

The expansion franchise will have an exclusive negotiation window for up to 5 international free agents.
Posting fees will still apply.



THEE PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE

The expansion franchise will have an exclusive negotiation window for up to 5 PFL players. The expansion team must pay $1MM off-season bonus to the PFL for each player it signs.




HIGH IMPACT FOOTBALL LEAGUE

The expansion team will be required to select a player from each of the 31 teams in the league.

Each team will be allowed to protect the following number of players:

>  5 Offensive, 5 Defensive Players, and 1 Specialist (Kicker/Punter) of their choosing
            OR
>  8 Players of their choosing regardless of Position.


PROTECTED PLAYERS MUST BE UNDER CONTRACT FOR S18


Players who are entering free agency after completing the season on a HIFL roster in S17 will be allowed to negotiate with the expansion team during an exclusive negotiation period.  If a player signs with the expansion team, then the team that the player completed S17 with, will NOT be subject to the expansion draft.

The Expansion team MAY NOT use their amnesty  on an player selected in the expansion draft during this current off-season.

In addition to the above options for player acquisition, the Expansion Team will be allowed to select up to TWO players from the now disbanded San Antonio Knights franchise, accepting the players at their original contract value and terms.  The expansion team will be allowed one offensive and one defensive player OR a specialist for a total of two players but may not select two players from the same side of the ball (offense/defense/special teams).




At the conclusion of the Expansion draft, the Expansion team will have a minimum 31 players on their roster and the full allotment of draft picks from rounds 1-7.

ONCE PROTECTIONS ARE POSTED, YOU ARE LOCKED INTO THAT DECISION AND CAN. NOT. CHANGE.
