New HIFL Boards Mafia Game Over Scum Win FALLOUT

Standard Mafia Rules:

1. Voting and unvoting only counts if its in a separate line of text and are bolded. For example: Vote: Doug

2. No talking about the game outside of the game thread other than a designated space if you have one.

3. Don't do the secret text stuff.

4. Do not quote PMs from the me. Para-phrasing is fine. Not quoting.

5. Day 1 will last at most 96 hours. Subsequent days will be approximately 72 hours. Night phases have a maximum of 48 hours but can/will go less if/when all actions are submitted.

6. Once enough votes are cast for a lynch it stands. Unvotes cannot undo this. But you're not dead until I call it. Upon being declared dead, a single BAH post is permitted.

7. No night talking.

8. Submit night actions to me via PM here or discord.

9. 3 strike rule for inactivity. If you go 72 game hours without posting, you'll get a prod. You then have 24 hours to post in game or it's a 2nd prod. 24 hours more of no activity results in being removed from the game.

With no fix in site, The Mod quickly signs everyone up to the new boards and all the great HIFL players migrate over to the new site as soon as possible. This action only makes Danica even more outraged and she too signs up for the new boards to try and tear it apart from the inside. Will she be stopped?

I think if we are gonna play this on full flavor, check out boards of what folks might have been saying when the original boards went down and see if any trends emerge as to who might be scum or not. Just throwing stuff out there.

Gonna say since, Talon dealt with the most bullshit with Godaddy, I can't see him playing the role of Danica if Doug hand picked his good guys and bad guys. If it were "RANDOM" Maybe but then again Doug did say this would be a crazy fucking game. Who the hell knows.

That write up gave me Thing vibes. In the movie there's one Thing but it can imitate and infect the other people in the movie.

My guess is whoever it is likely is keeping a low profile day one since they were solo.

Flavor banter is one thing, but using it as the entire substance of your posts is just filler.

Nothing to report from night one, Bennett and Ed are on my radar so far from an unbiased perspective, but considering their play in the past I can't rule out their terrible posts being their normal gameplay either.

Bennett's flavor filler post is one thing and the other was Ed's post assuming I wouldn't be Danica because of my real life troubles with godaddy.. ridiculous to assume anyone's innocence or guilt based on out of the game circumstances.

Talon was a joke vote I think but Fosters' vote was a bit sus cause it was specifically tailored to try and get a rise out of Franchise. Franchise replied back implying because of the reason he chose to vote for Franchise, he should instead vote himself. I understood Talon was fucking around but I just didn't really get the Fosters vote tbqh. 1. I hate people making arguments on behalf of others. You're making a lot of assumptions FOR Talon and while I don't disagree with you I wouldn't come to that conclusion with the finality you have.

2. You make a lot of great points about Fosters vote - why didn't you voice them before in day one or earlier in this day phase? Instead you've stuck to the flavor and brushed it all off with a "you'll be sorry post" and then followed it up with this whopper "I'm just trying to see if there's any clues to find out who Danica is and who she hacked to join her side" - something your previous post could have easily replaced.

Fosters voting for franchise was definitely a joke vote. He's done that day 1 on almost every mafia game we've played recently. Talon voting Pancho could either be a joke vote for the same reason, or Talon trying to eliminate an experienced player early. My thoughts are with the former because lynching are incredibly rare day 1.

So did no one get anything useful day 1? No one died but someone has switched allegiances?

Ed's silence is odd, its unlike him to be inactive.

Bennett's posts aren't doing him any favors, but I think he's town for now.

Those are my thoughts currently; much like Pancho not liking Bennett's speaking for me and my vote, Im in the same boat both with that post and with Oldfield speaking for Fosters' vote on Franchise. Thinking its a joke vote and KNOWING its a joke vote are two very different things unless you're chatting in a QT.

After everything that happened with Gooch in a past game I'd be wary of saying definitely about anything but I also think what Oldfield was saying was that he was relatively certain, based on past evidence, that it was a joke vote.

What is odd to me is that Oldfield used past voting history to defend Fosters voting Franchise, but at the same time called into question Talon voting Pancho on day one for the same reason (when that's been done on more than one occasion when Panch and Talon are both playing). To his credit he did say he'd lean toward a joke vote but still a little hypocritical I think.
