1. YOU MAY UNVOTE AND VOTE IN THE SAME THREAD AS LONG AS IT IS BOLDED AND PLEASE USE LINE TO DIVIDE.

2. No talking about the game outside of the game thread other than a designated space if you have one.

3. Don't do the secret text stuff. No hidden or revealing language

4. Do not quote PMs from the me. Para-phrasing is fine. Not quoting. DO NOT REPEAT WHAT YOU ARE TOLD BY ME IN DM OR DISCORD EVER

5. Day 1 will last until FRIDAY April 22st 8pm EST. Subsequent days will be approximately 72 hours. Night phases have a maximum of 48 hours but can/will go less if/when all actions are submitted.

6. Once enough votes are cast for a lynch it stands. Unvotes cannot undo this. Upon being declared dead, no more communication, no BAH post is permitted.

7. No night talking. If you talk after the Night Phase has started you will be given one warning. Second offense and you will be mod killed.

8.Submit night actions to me via PM here or discord.

9.Revealing your role is not against the rules but highly frowned upon and cannot be done until Day 3, AND it will still be frowned upon.

10. 3 strike rule for inactivity. If you go 72 game hours without posting, you'll get a prod. You then have 24 hours to post in game or it's a 2nd prod. 24 hours more of no activity results in being removed from the game. If you are Mod killed you can only come back if your team has another quarter.

11. Before you go into discord to discuss with each other, if you do not understand a role, rule or assignment you have been given please contact me first. If you see something off or a typo that makes something confusing please let me know

(It's been one week since Kirk, Doug and Oldfield made it out the Oculus and left Videoland behind hoping to return. Having found all members knocked unconscious upon returning to Kevin's apartment when they returned from the oculus adventure  Mike Powers was sent to the emergency room in coma where he still lays. Our story begins as the Kirk, Doug and Oldfield have gathered the rest of the crew and have come back to the apartment. Doug knocks on the door)

*KNOCK KNOCK*

The Door swings open to find a short pudgy older man standing in front of them

Man: What the hell you want,

Doug: This is Kevin's apartment correct?

Man: Not no more it isn't, that son of a bitch stiffed me four months rent then he has the nerve to ask me to borrow my car keys. Believe the nerve of that guy.

Kirk: Wait, what..when was that?

Man: Like four days ago. I was in my right mind to smack him let alone lend him my car. The asshole looked all disheveled and was mumbling some non sense

Doug: What was he saying?

Man: I couldn't make it out, dammit I was Furious at him.

Kirk: can you try and remember, it's important. We're looking for him also

Man: Something about an octopus and going inside of it. Kept saying something about being betrayed and kept mentioning a vault he needed to open. Maybe he's at a bank getting me my money the rotten son of a bitch...Anyway, if you see him tell him he isn't getting any of his thinga-majigs and all his silly nintendo stuff he left behind.

Doug: nint---oh wait, he left the Oculus behind?

Man: The what..?

Kirk: Did he leave behind a bunch of head sets, some wires, you know nintendo stuff?

Man: Oh Yeah, my nephew came over and disconnect of all of it and put it all in boxes, he says I can make a pretty penny from it on Ebay. So unless your buddy comes back with my rent I'm set to sell all that junk

Oldfield: Can we get it.

Man: You can buy it! I have no use for it, and before we start haggling, my nephew says all ten sets and the laptop can get me anywhere from 2000-3000 buckeroos.

(The crew looks at each other)

Bennett: I guess that's that, I guess Video land will find new heroes

Doug: What, we have to go back. We gave Kratos our word

Josh: We don't even know if Kratos was another oculus user or an actual AI NPC in that world, either way there's nothing we can do it about now. Those sets were specifically for Videoland

Pancho: Unless...(Pancho steps in front of the old man) Can I speak to you good sir

Man: You're a pretty big guy, what you gonna try and do intimidate me or something, I'll have you know back in my day I took bigger shits than you, so I would back off amigo

Pancho: No need to be hostile, I want to talk economics here

Man: Eco-what?

Pancho: Money, moolah, green back.

Man: Then just say that

Pancho: Can I speak to you alone.

Man: No funny business you here, I might be old but I'll take you to the shed compadre.

(Pancho and the bitter old man step to the side. Pancho goes into his pocket and can be seen counting money and he hands it to the old man)

Pancho: Gentlemen, come on in

(The crew has a look on their face as they slowly walk into the apartment)

Man: You got one week. 6 daysnot 7, god rested on the 7th day and so will I. At the end of the 6th day, I will come in here and cut the electricity and you will all have to leave and pay me the rest of my money. Get it. got it, GOOD!...NERDS

(Everyone kind of nods not really knowing what happened. The man looks around and just sighs as he walks out slamming the door)

Kirk: What just happened?

Pancho: You mofo's each owe me 100 bucks. I just paid him 500 bucks and we have to pay him another five at the end of the week. I convinced him to rent out the stuff for us so we can use it. A bitter fool like that going on about money can't pass up free cash so I got us one week, o six days. Even told him he could lock us in to make sure we didn't leave or run off with it. Now, time is ticking. We need to unpack all of the Oculus pieces and start putting it together.

Fosters: Wasn't it numbered mate. He said the boy wrapped it all up. I'm sure the lad took the numbers off. I mean I would if I was planning on gettin some dough.

Pancho: Can't be to hard, just put it all together. I don't think each pieces was specifically numbered to work with each other.

Franchise: And he mentioned a laptop. Was there a laptop last time?

Oldfield: Maybe it was the one that wanker Kevin was using, which is why he had different abilities.

Pancho: I say talking is just wasting time. Let's get it together and figure it out when it's all hooked up.

(After about an hour, each Oculus was hooked up to the laptop)

Evans: Wasn't as hard as it looked

Josh: Do you think we'll be the same characters

Kirk: Remember, when a character is phased out, they are erased from Videoland for ever. Plus we know Kevin was around, he could have already reprogrammed things

Doug: Wait, if characters were phased then wouldn't Kevin be phased out also and why wouldn't he just destroy it and go back on his own. Why leave it behind

(Everyone looks at one another with the possibilities)

Franchise: Well, the old little man said he was talking about betrayed, maybe he wants us to continue the game for revenge. I mean, his entire life has been video games, why would this be any different.

Evans: Guys, I wasn't here last time, I know Kirk filled me on the way over and I am still having a hard time understanding how this is even possible but I'm sure what ever this is we are doing isn't helping our chances. I say we just do what we need to do and see what happens.

Doug: He's right, gentlemen, let's do this for Mike, be safe and I hope win lose or draw we all come back safe and avoid a visit to the hospital.

(Everyone puts the Oculus on)

Josh: Wait, does anyone need to use the can first.

(everyone agrees and after about 5 minutes everyone is back at their Oculus. Doug reaches over and turns on the laptop which is powering the oculus through a converter switch put together by Kevin)

Kirk: Everyone, press start

-----------------------------BLACK OUT----------------------------

(EVERYONE WAKES UP. Quickly they get up and look at each other.)

Player 1: Now to find...wait, what the hell

Player 2: Our voices are completely different. How about you  (LOUD RINGING AS EVERYONE SCREAMS IN PAIN HOLDING THEIR EARS)

Player 3: What the fuck, who said that, was it you.......(LOUD RINGING AS EVERYONE SCREAMS ONCE AGAIN)

Player 4; What's Happening.....(LOUD RINGING)

Player 1: don't try to say one another's name. K probably put filters to confuses us.

(All the players look around and see a chest with a small wizard like person near it)

Wizard: You are gonna need what is inside

Player 1: I got it

(Player 1 opens the chest and it's a sand timer)

Wizard: Every time one of you die, the sands of time will fly. When the 12th hour of the 6th day arrives, the sand will be no more and neither will the door.

Player 2: Great, riddles.

Player 3: At least we have a timer

Player 4: There's somethings else inside

Player 5: It's a Quarter with the princess face on it

Wizard: That to has it's own time. By the second moon of the second night, one of you will need it to rekindle the light.

Player 3: Can I hold that?

Player 1: Sure. I mean, if anyone can decipher these riddles let me know what you got.

Player 6: I say we move on Towards the castle the Princess is in. Stay close, keep your head on a swivel, seems like KEvin has gotten a bit darker with where we start from and If that old man was right about Kevin babbling then it sounds like Kevin has lost even more control and can be even more unpredictable.

Unexcusable. Even for a day 1. I always play to try and get a day 1 lynch but fuck what's the point when there might be maybe 3 more posts before deadline anyway.

(The new search party has assembled and made their way towards the castle. Night has fallen upon a seemingly deserted wasteland).

Lara Croft: McCloud , can you get a read on the land?

Fox McCloud: Seems to be quiet. We have adequate shelter tonight, let's take.

Lara Croft: Kratos, these are your lands. What do you think?

Kratos: Doesn't matter to me. If the Fox says we are good, then we are good.

(The search party enters an abandon cafe).

Bigby Wolf- I'll take first watch, don't get much sleep these days and I would prefer to be up at night anyways.

Lara Croft: Sounds good, when you are ready to rest, wake me, I'll take next shift. 

(The group agrees and Settles in. After a few hours of night watch, Bigby quickly picks up on a scent. His ears perk up. He decides to quietly make his way outside as his instinct is kicking in and a slow transformation is helping him be ready to defend himself. He starts to smell the air and follow the scent. He catches a shadow in his prereferral and decides to follow it. He wonders and wonders until he finds himself in the woods. Suddenly the sound of foot steps draws near. He stoops down and peaks over an abandon car and is surprised at what he see's)

Bigby: How can that son of a bitch be here. This ain't good

(Bigby's instinct tells him to attack but he knows he needs to go back and tell the crew. He begins running back to the cafe but he picks up two more scents in the distance, one familiar and one not so familiar. He then looks up and notices a flash of light where the two scents were coming from. When he focuses to see where he is running, he turns and is face to face with who he originally saw behind him

Bigby: Whya re you here........

(Before he can say the name, he quickly feels his neck being twisted until *SNAP* )

(footsteps running through the brush alerts the killer to flee)

Not liking that one bit.

I back read yesterday to try and get a sense of why or how we ended up in this position but there was literally nothing to go off on. Only strange bit (other than Talon's joke post that is now deleted) was Tritch and Josh's back and forth.

I make nothing of the Evans/Josh bit and no one else really should unless we're grasping for straws already. Josh said something on discord about not being active that Evans didn't see. Which is another reason we don't bring up outside the game stuff inside the game because it messes up the game.

I got nothing. As far as the posts go from the last day phase nothing stands out other than the three votes. Nobody posted that much but the Doug post about the lack of posts stood out. Reminds me of my play when I'm scum which is why it's standing out to me. Might be nothing but I'm taking note of it for later on if the games stalls out and he has the opposite reaction to the lack of posting later in the game.

My that's a quick agreement between the two people I find the most suspicious ...

The last few games I've played here I've had difficulties telling the difference between scumtells and inexperience. So, most of my reads right now need time to solidify. I'm the most suspicious of Oldfield and Bennett.

In a game with such little communication, where tells might not be trusted, it's easiest to analyze the nightkill. In my opinion, the most likely people to kill Kirk on Night 1 are Doug, Pancho, Josh, maybe Franchise. And myself, to be completely transparent.

I'll be paying attention to this back and forth between Pancho and Doug.

Also in the interest of transparency, my vote on Josh yesterday was - ironically, in retrospect - to illicit a reaction and activity from him, since he so often skates through the game with little activity. I do not keep up with the Discord, so I had no idea he was going to be inactive. Either way, outside interactions and information should have no bearings on the game.

That's fair enough I didn't know Josh said anything bout being inactive on discord either until Doug mentioned it so I can understand that tid bit. So with that and the transparency Tritch as provided that sorta clears him for me for the time being.

I'm not not that sold on the Fosters vote because despite this being a different game this has been a new route he's been going with not being as active Day 1 because he would be falsely accused of being scum (I'm guilty of being one of his past accusers doing this to him). It is something to consider but I'm just not sold on it. This is a new day tho so I do find that a bit strange as time goes on.

So far I'm just seeing a lot of finger pointing trying to cast doubt on someone else. Whether that be genuine or just scum tryna protect scum I'm not sure just yet but the Pancho, Franchise and Doug stuff is what's standing out the most to me atm mainly because it's the only thing interesting going on today.
