GM Dougie

Fosters is now next president. Pancho and Franchise are ineligible to become chancellor.

Gameplay now continues as normal.

GM Fosters

GM Dougie

Voting for Fosters/Eli is now underway. Talking may continue during voting phase. Deadline for 4 yes votes is 12pm EST tomorrow.

GM Eli

Idk that I like the idea of someone being president twice in a row BUT if it's going to be anyone I think Fosters is the best option based off the evidence available.

Vote:Yes

GM Oldfield

GM Pancho

GM Dougie

We are now in government phase. No talking please.

GM Dougie

The government has met and have enacted a...

Fascist Policy

At this juncture, no talking from anyone except the president. Fosters, it is your responsibility to choose one player to kill and remove from the game. This must happen before the game progresses.

Post the kill here.

GM Fosters

So I was given 3 reds. It's complete shit.

I'm going to kill Ed because I can't work out between franchise and Ed, which ones Hitler and which ones a facist. Ed came alive once the possibility of making Hitler the chancellor would win the facists the game. Franchise is less likely to get voted in in a government so that is why I'm not choosing him.

GM Dougie

President Fosters:

Lucas:

Lucas: At least I don't have to be a liberal anymore.

Dead: Lucas - Liberal

With the special election and presidential power resolved, we return to who was originally next in line to be president...

Talking may resume. Fosters is now president (again). This time only Eli is ineligible to be chancellor.

GM Fosters

We need to get a liberal policy played and therefore I will pick either Pancho or Oldfield as chancellor. I am leaning towards Pancho.

GM Eli

I will be voting no to any government you put forward right now, Fosters. Nothing personal but now that we're down a liberal we can't afford someone to have this kind of control over the end game.

I have suspicions that Pancho is fascist. His questions asking for people to list who they'd nominate, when he had the power to choose the next president, just smell like someone trying to find out who would nominate Hitler. I think he's hiding behind early game blues knowing that the odds would heavily favor fascists in the late game.

I think that Josh is liberal. Which means it's either you, Fosters, that is Hitler, or Oldfield.

Franchise is the liar. He's the only president to have "kept" a blue card in the first deal through the deck meaning he's the one who claimed to have been given a blue but was actually a red.

This is why the count was off.

And you automatically believe the three reds that happened twice? Lol c'mon, man! I told you something was off a long time ago and that's a fact. Also good job with getting everyone all paranoid for no reason when the liberals are about to win the game if a blue policy is passed.

So I was right the whole time about something being off? Sweet vindication after the accusations thrown my way earlier. There's no way there's this many three red draws in the game without something being amiss with the cards and the people being elected. I do agree about Josh being a liberal and I'm positive Eli is a liberal. After Lucas' reveal I'm unsure about everyone else especially after what just happened.

GM Oldfield

Even though franchise is the really big obvious choice for a kill as he's clearly scum, we were all getting scum vibes from Ed so I can see it. The fact he perked up once the red team had 3 votes made me think he was hitler.

I still feel confident Pancho is liberal, and know I am. So any government outside us two I just can't get behind this late.

GM Franchise

You got scum vibes from Ed and I. He was killed so you're 0-1 so far. If you thought he was scum you were wrong, bottom line. Own up to it. This wasn't just the person pulling the trigger who was guilty of being wrong, it's also anyone who thought he was a fascist and won't own up to being wrong but instead continue finger pointing and making excuses.

GM Oldfield

Dude you were given a blue and red card and threw away the blue! You don't have a say in this anymore

GM Eli

The one thing we all agree on is that Franchise is obviously scum.

My read on Pancho could be wrong, but I don't think it is. I'm not sure why Oldfield is so sure about Pancho right now either. He's responsible for a late red policy, and for putting back to back presidential power in Fosters hands. Fosters is now equally responsible for a red policy and also for the death of a liberal.

And while  Ed's death isn't surprising because he was so pushy for power, the obvious kill for numbers purposes was franchise. Kill the known fascist, make it 4 liberals to 2 fascists left in the game.

Not how it worked out, but for the three liberals left keep in mind that if Fosters is fascist, he will kill me and then pass presidential power on to Franchise, who we know is a Fascist and there will be nothing you can do to stop him from electing Hitler as chancellor.

No matter who Fosters chooses, this government must be voted down.

GM Fosters

There has to be a blue card in the next draw. I'm nominating Pancho as I feel he is the most likely to play that blue policy and secure the win for us liberals.

GM Oldfield

I still have a good feeling on Pancho. And Fosters have proven he put Blue first.

Vote Yes

Sorry didn't see this response .

Pancho is the one who outed franchise. If Pancho is red surely he would have kept his mouth shut? Or are we pretending franchise isn't facist?

GM Dougie

Voting is underway for Fosters/Pancho. Talking may resume during voting. Deadline is 9am EST tomorrow. Although there are now 6 players in the game, much akin to mafia, majority rules therefore 4 yes votes are still required to pass into government phase. Current votes are:

Yes - 1
No - 1

Pancho didn't put Franchise. I did. I called him out as a liar and voted no on the government that you're claiming outed him.

Pancho also never confirmed what he was given, or what he passed on to franchise. In fact all that was said was said by Franchise "I just picked a card" and everyone focused on that and left the rest behind.

Maybe I should've been killed instead of Ed and you'd know for sure. But then again that one isn't one me, the"evil fascist" but once again on a "liberal." The lines between truth and bullshit are blurred in this game big time right now.

One last thing. This is just a reminder that Pancho, Fosters, Eli, and Oldfield voted for this government. Ed, a liberal, did not vote for this government. My point is at least one of these players is a fascist. Wake the fuck up, people.

Votes are as follows:

Yes (2) - Fosters, Oldfield
No (2) - Eli, Franchise

Pancho and Josh are yet to vote.

Honestly I just picked whatever. My bestie's wife ditched her last week and I just picked whatever. That's on me for picking a random card. I take full blame and I don't blame anyone for thinking I'm scum. I sent in my card like five minutes after I found out and just said pick whatever so again that's on me. Pick a blue card and end this shit. That last one is on me.

LMAO WHAT!?!?!?!?!

This makes No sense how could you accidentally discard a blue card?

Pancho what was you given?

What are the next steps now?

I was given exactly what you said - 2 reds and a blue - discarded the red.

Quote from: GM Eli on June 06, 2022, 08:28:56 AM
Nothing like giving away a win because "actions speak louder than words" smh. We had this in the bag and threw.

Anyway. Pancho picks the next president. Then he picks a chancellor and we vote.

1 blue, 5 reds left in the deck.

Better hope we pick right. Pick a fascist for president and it's a guaranteed red played and a free kill for them.

Pick Hitler for chancellor and it's game over.

Yeah that one is definitely on me - so I am crowd sourcing - who should be the next President ... if you were elected President who would you select as chancellor.

Speaking of missing things.

Eli I understand why you are talking the way you are.  My choice of Franchise as chancellor ended up being a crap one. But it's all conjecture and not based on facts.  I'm a liberal and have passed liberal policies three times again ... two of which I had the choice to play the red like Franchise did.

Vote: Yes

GM Eli

It's not just your choice of chancellor. It's also your choice to give presidential power back to back to Fosters, who is now not only responsible for a red policy being played, but also a liberal being killed. Like I said earlier, Ed was low hanging fruit. We all thought that his power grab was sketchy. But by this point Franchise was basically confirmed fascist.

It's so easy to see what's about to happen. A red policy is going to get played. Fosters is going to kill me, and the next president will be Franchise and the liberal numbers will be too diminished to prevent Hitler from being elected (and that's assuming you're not Hitler yourself, Pancho).

I hope you're telling the truth, and that the remaining fascists outside of Franchise are Oldfield and Josh. But judging by the game so far I think that's an incredible reach and this is all about probabilities.

I won't change my vote from no. And if the presidential power ends up making it to me, I'll be nominating Josh as chancellor.

That's where I'm at.

A bit odd to be judging my choice of Fosters by the results of what happened AFTER I picked him for President when before I selected him Fosters was the #1 Liberal choice.

Starting to think you are projecting Eli but I suppose that's what endgame does to us.

GM Eli

Also, yes, I missed you confirming what you got apparently. My fault on that one. But it doesn't change what my reads are.

Also, it's not odd to start judging the choice of Fosters now based on the evidence that has come out since then. I advocated early on for the chancellors to be you and Fosters until given a reason not to.

There's more than enough reason not to support a government with either of you in it at this point.

GM Fosters

I didn't get a choice of policies, I was given 3 reds.

Ok I chose to kill Ed, who turned out to be liberal but I had strong reasons to suggest he was Hitler! Franchise is combative in whatever role he takes on. I do feel that he's more than likely a fascist in this game though. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. It does seem suspect that you and Franchise have almost teamed up though Eli. That looks majorly suspicious to me!

Easiest play in the book for a confirmed fascist to try and discredit a liberal by agreeing with what they say after they've been outed. That's so blatantly obvious lol.

The ONLY fascist policies associated with me were passed when I was chancellor and each time the president confirmed they had passed two reds onto me.

Once was by Ed who is confirmed liberal.

And once was by you.

Everything else around me? Calling out Franchise as a liar when the rest of you voted for his government, and my own presidency, clearly establish me as most likely liberal. My election as chancellor last round at the very least confirms I'm not Hitler.

That's a nice try though.

When this round results in a fascist victory, just remember I called it now.

GM Fosters

You've made (at least) one good point. In that you are a future semi-safe candidate for chancellor considering we know as you have pointed out that you are guaranteed to not be Hitler.

Also good point about Franchise potentially trying to discredit you.

It's an easy play, yes, or is it being done because it's so obvious it's being obvious on purpose? That's what's going to get you thinking. Also there's something that's been nagging at me. You're not a confirmed liberal either. Hell no one is confirmed for any alignment except for Ed but let's keep glossing over that and continue calling people liberals even without knowing if they are or not.

We've reached 3 no votes. At this point we've reached a threshold where even if Franchise changed back it doesn't matter as 4 yes cannot be reached. This is considered a failed government.

This is the first of 3 failed governments. If there are 3 failed governments consecutively, I will play the policy on top of the deck.
