GM GOOCH SIGNS CONVICTED MURDERED GRADY "THE DENTIST" ASWOLD TO 1 YEAR $500K CONTRACT DESPITE ASWOLD BEING ON DEATH ROW!

MYRTLE BEACH -- In a strange development, The Myrtle Beach Mastodons have made headlines after GM Buckson Gooch signed death row inmate and serial killer Grady Aswold to a 1 year contract worth $500K.

Aswold, also known as "The Dentist of Death" was convicted earlier this year for the murder for 13 South Carolina college students using horrific tactics such as pulling the teeth out of each victim while they were still alive and making a crown out of them.

The decision from GM Gooch and the Mastodon's to offer a contract to such a monster has left fans confused and horrified.

GM LUCAS' FUED WITH STEVE ROSENHAUS LEADS TO HURRICANES WR SMITTY SMOKE REQUESTING TRADE!

The free for all period got off to a wild start as several GMs made gaffs, but sometimes the initial gaff is not as bad as the follow up mistake and for GM Lucas in San Juan things have gone from bad to worse after GM Lucas signed 5'9 450 lbs youtuber Donald Burke, the brother of DT Ronald Burke.

After the signing was done, GM Lucas was confronted by Burke's agent Steve Rosenhaus and GM Lucas furthered his insults by referring to Steve as "Seth"  which Rosenhaus interpreted as a racial slur.

Rosenhaus has informed the media he will do no business with GM Lucas and that his client Smitty Smoke, who is projected to be a starting WR for San Juan this year is now requesting a trade out of town immediately.

22. Auburn Tigers
23. Iowa Hawkeyes
24. Ole Miss Rebels
25. South Carolina Gamecocks

Also Receiving Votes: Minnesota, Tennessee, Oregon, Missouri, TCU, Utah, Louisville, Arkansas

Underrated:

1.  North Carolina Tar Heels
16-0 last season and National Champions, The Tar Heels return likely #1 overall pick next year, Tyler Horan at QB for a run at a back-to-back championship run.   The Heels lost a lot of talent to the HIFL draft this past April, but the club is still one of the deepest in the nation and replaced major pieces like Raekwon Shields and Sam Angelo by landing the nations #1 recruit DT Roscoe Kimble and #2 recruit CB Antonio Stingley, both who should slot in to starting roles day 1 along side seniors Derrick Gutierrez and Tad Sousa.  Head Coach Saul Carpenter may be nearing the end of the road but this Heels team should be in the top 5.

2. Baylor Bears
Efrain Voss has lead a resurgence in Baylor Football that has gone from a bowl berth, to a Sugar Bowl appearance, to a College Football Playoff run with a 15-2 season. To think they should only be ranked 15th after finishing the season ranked 3rd is a head scratcher.  head coach Rich Cannon done a great job turning Baylor around and should be poised to make another push for the college football playoffs before fielding job offers from some of the bigger schools in the nation.

3. Louisville Cardinals
The Cardinals have been the main rival of the Tar Heels on their dominant run over the last half-decade and while Todd Rivera is gone to the pros, Anthony Anderson has redshirt sophomore Richard Inman ready to take over the Cardinals offense and incoming junior transfer Bryce Action, the son of hall of famer Bo Action will look to make an immediate impact at wide receiver.  Defensively CB Parker Sawyer looks like a future first round pick and despite a tough schedule
which includes road games at Alabama and Clemson in the first 4 weeks of the year, the Cardinals could be a contender (again) at the end of the season.

Overrated:

1. Ole Miss Rebels
Coming off of a dreadful 4-win season, Mississippi hired first-time head coach Christian Sullivan this off-season.
Star QB Sam Camp and a host of players transferred prior to the arrival of Sullivan. The Rebs will have to lean on a strong outside run game with the duo of Justin Bryant and Army Neal but to think this club is a bounce back candidate worthy of a top 25 rating after such a rough year seems strange.

2. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
After a few years in the Big Ten (or Big Sixteen as it was called last year) Notre Dame has officially joined the ACC and landed the #10 recruit in the nation, Freshman QB "Big" Ben Parasail.  The gunslinger could earn the starting nod day one if he impresses Buddy Sarkisian in camp and he'll have a pair of senior stars to throw to in Classic Carter and Romeo Vice; but road games against Carolina and Louisville will make for a tough schedule.

3. Alabama Crimson Tide
Back to back 3-9 seasons have seen the once unstoppable Crimson Tide make wholesale changes in the front office and across the roster.  That being said, Mario Carney has not done enough to get Alabama a pre-season ranking let alone be a top 5 program.   The Tide has not won back to back games at anytime across the last two years and 7 of their opponents this season have a pre-season top 25 ranking, so the Tide face a very tall task if they plan to live up to the hype.

DC COBRAS ENTER SEASON WITH HIGH HOPES AS NEWLY HIRED GM POWERS FACES SCRUTINY AFTER MILWAUKEE EXIT LAST SEASON

GM Mike Powers has faced his share of controversy and adversity dating back to his ventures in the now defunct FBL basketball league and NBL Baseball league; from his time with the Mississippi Steamers (FBL) to his infamous hall of champions tirade with the Carolina Strikers (NBL) to his tumultuous time with the Tombstone Outlaws that led to a year suspension from the league and continuing to his tarmac rant after being traded from Michigan to Rapid City mid-season and eventually his drunken press conference that lead to his firing in Milwaukee that also resulting in Carmine "The Red" Barone being struck by a city bus while in pursuit of a fleeing GM;  It is always must see television when GM Powers is at the helm.

Now having gone through months of rehab and getting clean, the two-time conference championship winning GM takes the reigns in DC after the departure of GM Justin who rebuild the Cobras into an Impact Bowl contender over the past several season.  The catch is that GM Powers contract comes with an opt out each off-season of Herschel Kiss is not satisfied with the GM's performance.    Unfortunately for GM Powers off-field obligations have lead to the GM having to take a leave of absence, leaving the club in the hands of head coach and current interim GM  Shaun Saint.

Saint is highly respected around the league, but many believe that GM Powers is rolling the dice on whether or not the future hall of famer can lead the team to a strong enough season to prove that Mr. Kiss should continue with the reclamation project.

"DC wants to win it all, and soon." one inside source tells HIFL Insiders, "If Mr. Kiss believes there is someone better for the job, he will not hesitate to reach out, his loyalties died when GM Jon wanted to leave the DC Dynasty for a family reunion in Seattle."

Needless to say, DC is a coveted job but one that does not come with much job security.

ANCHORAGE BRUINS SLOW TO SELL SEASON TICKETS, ANCHORAGE MAYOR SAYS CLUB SHOULD HAVE INVESTED INTO PR CAMPAIGN TO DRIVE INTERST AFTER TEAM WENT 2-14 FINAL SEASON IN KANSAS CITY

ANCHORAGE -- The Bruins formerly of Kansas City are preparing to make their debut in a new home, Anchorage, Alaska.  When Behr Danzer sold the team to Wildlife Survival celebrity Jackson Sullivan the football world questioned the decision due to the small market and cold weather in Anchorage, but Sullivan said he was confident in the teams ability to draw fans for the inaugural season thanks to the new state of the art dome affectionately dubbed "The Bear Cave;" but early numbers have indicated that ticket sales have been slower than expected even after the signing of Franchise quarterback Michael Worley.   Some say that despite Worley's talents, the fact that he has primarily played in small markets or with unsuccessful teams has diminished his star in the eyes of fans, especially those in Anchorage who may have previously had other favorite teams and players.

The City's mayor Suzanne LaFrance said she feels the team did not do enough during the off-season to promote the team locally, saying: "I believe some simple marketing for a star player or even the team as a whole to help show the local fan base what they were all about would have done wonders for fan support and attendance, now they will have to "stand on business" as my grand children say, which means they'll have to attract fans by winning at home and playing good football."

While fan support can effect home field advantage, we've seen more in more in the HIFL that certain free agents are valuing market size and teams market score just as much as they value money and the ability to win a championship, so teams are starting to think more and more about what they can do to build a strong fan base to attract more players and make more money for their organization.

ROOKIE HAZING GONE WRONG LEADS TO PHYSICAL ALTERCATION BETWEEN STAR PLAYERS AND WINNIPEG ROOKIE AT WINNIPEG'S MOST EXPENSIVE RESTAURANT

WINNIPEG -- Rookie hazing has long been a poorly kept secret tradition in professional football, whether it is making the rookies carry all of the equipment during practice to more extreme stunts, veterans view it as a "rookie bonding experience," one that they each went through as rookies and now share the experience with the incoming class of players.   However this weekend the team had its "rookie dinner" at 529 Wellington Steakhouse, Winnipeg's most expensive eatery and while Historically, the rookie dinner flutters around the $20,000-$25,000 range The Arctic Foxes broke that in a landslide.

The rookies were left to foot a massive $346,000.00 bill.

As an athlete, having a rookie dinner with professional football players is the worst possible scenario for the eventual bill recipient. Pro football players can flat-out eat. And when they know they are going to stick the rookies with the tab, they will shoot for the most expensive menu items such as lobster, top-shelf Martin Louis XIII Cognac, vintage bottles of wine, bottles of Voss water at $1,014 a pop, excessive plates of Rib-eye steaks, bottles of cabernet sauvignon, seafood platters, and prime rib.

And what is worse, the rookies don't have any choice in the matter. They have no control over what is ordered, consumed, left uneaten, or taken home to consume later. The veterans who went through the exact same thing will tell you the rookie dinner is about one thing: a bonding experience, but for one Winnipeg Rookie the experience was not what he signed up for.

Offensive Guard Michael Rowland who was Winnipeg's first round draft pick, is said to have taken issue with the rookie dinner bill and called for certain veterans to help foot the bill, reports indicate that he confronted team captain Yolo Rolo and during the exchange things got heated.  529 staff is said to have tried to intervene but another teammate, veteran Charles Clancy also got involved and eventually the three players got physical enough that at least one table was knocked over along with other furniture in the luxurious establishment causing significant damages that caused the staff to ban the team from visiting for the foreseeable future.

The league is said to be investigating the incident.

HURRICANES FULLBACK JOHN PEYTON CAUGHT IN PONZI SCHEME SCANDAL!

San Juan Hurricanes fullback John Peyton has found himself in hot water after it was revealed he invested heavily in a business that is now the center of a federal investigation. According to reports, Peyton was one of several athletes who fell victim to a Ponzi scheme disguised as a legitimate investment opportunity. The business in question, which claimed to be involved in real estate development, was actually engaging in illegal activities, with funds from new investors being used to pay returns to earlier ones. As the scheme unraveled, federal authorities launched an investigation into the company's dealings, dragging Peyton into the spotlight.

Peyton, known for his bruising style on the field, is facing a different kind of battle off of it as he grapples with the legal implications of his involvement. Sources close to the player say that Peyton had no knowledge of the illegal activities and was simply looking to invest his earnings into what he believed was a sound financial opportunity. "This has been a nightmare for John. He trusted the wrong people and it could cost him everything, he's already lost his wife because of it," said a Peyton's agent Mike Maker. The fullback reportedly invested a significant portion of his earnings into the venture, and while it's unclear how much he stands to lose financially, his reputation has already taken a hit.

The San Juan Hurricanes organization has remained largely silent on the matter, issuing a brief statement that they are aware of the investigation and are in communication with Peyton and his legal team. For now, Peyton is focused on preparing for the upcoming HIFL season, but the looming investigation is a heavy burden as he tries to stay focused on football. As the federal investigation continues, questions remain about how this situation will affect Peyton's career and his future with the Hurricanes.

PREDATORS IFAF IMPORT JULIAN GASDUCHE ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE FOLLOWING PUBLIC BACKLASH ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Julian Gasduche, the German-born offensive tackle who recently joined the Pearl Harbor Predators during the International Free Agency period, has announced that he will be legally changing his last name following public controversy. Gasduche, who transitioned from the IFAF's German National Team to the HIFL, found himself the subject of ridicule due to the connotations of his surname in English-speaking countries. Wanting to eliminate the distraction and refocus on football, the 25 year old has decided to make a change.

"In Germany, my last name didn't mean anything out of the ordinary, but here it's been misinterpreted in a way I didn't anticipate," said Gasduche. "I want to move forward without that baggage, so I've decided to change my last name to Schneider, which is my mother's maiden name. It's a way to honor my family while also allowing me to focus on the game."

Head coach Joseph Ito voiced his support for Schneider, stating, "Julian has shown a lot of maturity in handling this situation. He's here to play football and to help this team win, and we fully support his decision. We're excited to see what he brings to the field as we gear up for the season." With the name change officially behind him, Schneider is ready to shift the focus back to his performance and help the Predators succeed in the upcoming HIFL season.

PREDATORS QUARTERBACK FACING MAJOR SUSPENSION, FEDERAL INVESTIGATION AFTER ALLEGATIONS OF BETTING ON HIFL GAMES

Chauncy Miller, the young 3rd string quarterback for the Pearl Harbor Predators, has found himself embroiled in a growing controversy as reports have surfaced linking him to a sports betting scandal. Sources claim that Miller, only a year removed from starring at QB for the University of Texas, participated in placing bets on HIFL games, a direct violation of league policies. While there is no evidence that Miller bet on his own team's games, the mere association with sports gambling is enough to spark a federal investigation and potential league discipline.

The second year quarterback, seen as a promising talent with potential to develop, now faces intense scrutiny. Though Miller has publicly denied any involvement in betting on HIFL games, evidence of his wagering on other professional sports has surfaced. Some reports suggest he was influenced by friends from his college days, but the perception of poor judgment has left his future with the Predators in jeopardy.

The Pearl Harbor Predators organization has yet to issue a formal statement, but sources indicate that head coach Joseph Ito and the front office are deeply concerned about the distraction this controversy could bring to the team. With Miller already third on the depth chart, his place on the roster could be at risk, pending the results of the investigation. Fans and media are now speculating on the potential fallout, with some calling for Miller's release and others advocating for leniency, given his youth and inexperience.

TRIO OF LONDON PLAYERS ARRESTED AFTER ALTERCATION AT POPULAR LONDON NIGHT CLUB!

LONDON -- In a shocking off-season development, three players from the London Harriers—rookie wide receiver Patrick Carder, undrafted defensive end Rodrigo Allen, and second-year linebacker Gary Ware—were arrested late last night following an altercation at a nightclub. While details are still being investigated, initial reports suggest that the incident began as a heated argument between Carder and another patron, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation. The situation spiraled out of control when security attempted to intervene, leading to the involvement of Allen and Ware, who reportedly tried to diffuse the situation but became entangled in the chaos.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with bouncers and patrons involved in the scuffle before local law enforcement arrived on the scene. All three players were taken into custody, though it remains unclear what specific charges each individual will face. The Harriers organization, led by head coach Steven Crawford, has issued a brief statement acknowledging the situation, stating, "We are aware of the incident involving three of our players. We are cooperating with authorities as they continue their investigation and will reserve further comment until more details are available."

This incident comes as a significant blow to the Harriers, who made waves this off-season with the high-profile signing of Patrick's brother, star running back Daniel Carder. With the start of the season just around the corner, the arrests of these players, particularly Patrick Carder—who was expected to make an impact as a rookie—cast a shadow over the team's preparations. As the investigation unfolds, the future of these three players with the Harriers hangs in the balance.

DEVELOPING: SEATTLE DT INVOLVED IN DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE

SEATTLE -- Seattle Lumberjacks defensive tackle Steven Thompson, who has been competing for a starting spot on the team's defensive line, found himself in the spotlight for the wrong reasons after a domestic disturbance at his home led to police involvement. According to reports, law enforcement was called to Thompson's residence late last night following a heated argument with a family member reported to be Thompson's girlfriend. While no physical violence was reported, the situation escalated enough for authorities to intervene, and Thompson was taken in for questioning and not allowed to return to the home until his girlfriend was escorted to another residence.

The Seattle Lumberjacks organization, led by head coach Andre Bly, acknowledged the incident in a brief statement. "We are aware of the situation involving Steven and are in communication with him and the authorities. At this time, we are respecting the ongoing investigation and will refrain from further comment, I direct any other questions to Seattle PD and to our front office." With Thompson competing for a pivotal role on the defense, the incident comes at a critical time, raising questions about his focus and future with the team.

As the league's personal conduct policy could come into play, Thompson may face disciplinary action regardless of legal outcomes. The Lumberjacks are preparing for all scenarios as the investigation continues, with Thompson's standing on the team now uncertain. His involvement in the altercation has become a significant off-field distraction as the team approaches the start of the season.

DEVELOPING: ANOTHER SEATTLE LUMBERJACK IN TROUBLE AS OT MICHAEL ALVAREZ ARRESTED!

SEATTLE -- Seattle Lumberjacks offensive tackle Michael Alvarez was arrested late last night on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. According to police reports, Alvarez was pulled over after driving erratically and subsequently failed a field sobriety test. He was taken into custody and later released on bail, but the incident has cast a shadow over his pre-season preparations.

The Seattle Lumberjacks, under the leadership of head coach Andre Bly, acknowledged the arrest and expressed their concern. "We are aware of Michael's arrest and are currently gathering more information. We take this matter very seriously and will address it accordingly as the legal process unfolds," Bly stated. The team has not announced any immediate disciplinary actions, but Alvarez's chances of securing a starting role could be affected by the distraction.

With the league's strict substance abuse policy, Alvarez could face suspension, further complicating his standing with the team. As a young player still trying to solidify his position, this incident poses a significant setback both on and off the field. All eyes will be on GM Henry Stark as both Alvarez and DT Steven Thompson's recent off-field issues put a black cloud over the start of the Lumberjacks' season.

DEVELOPING: ROUGH START TO FIRST OFF-SEASON IN SPAIN FOR STAMPEDE AS SEVERAL OFF-FIELD ISSUES CAST SHADOW OVER START OF SEASON!

MADRID -- The Madrid Stampede's training camp has been marked by a series of off-field incidents involving key players, raising concerns for the team as they prepare for the upcoming HIFL season. With expectations high following an active offseason, the distractions could prove costly as the team looks to build cohesion in their first year since moving across the Atlantic from Orlando. Among the players involved in recent incidents are rookie defensive end Gerald Palmer, starting running back Saul Bennett, rookie running back Ja'Marae Titsworth, and veteran wide receiver Mac Richard.

Gerald Palmer, a rookie defensive end, was spotted several times over the last two weeks at a local casino. While Palmer was not involved in any illegal activities, his presence in a questionable environment has led to concerns about his focus and decision-making as a young player trying to make an impact. The casino in question has a reputation for being a base of operations for one of Spain's largest organized crime families, raising eyebrows within the organization about Palmer's judgment, especially at this critical point in his career. The Stampede have yet to announce any formal consequences, but Palmer's actions have already drawn unwanted attention to the team.

Meanwhile, tensions boiled over during practice when starting running back Saul Bennett became involved in a brief altercation with a teammate. Frustrated by a rough play, Bennett shoved defensive back Walter Turner, leading to a scuffle that escalated when rookie Ja'Marae Titsworth joined in, knocking Turner to the ground and into a nearby hydration station. The physical altercation disrupted the session, forcing head coach Vince Hunter to halt practice and address the players directly. While no serious injuries occurred, the incident has sparked internal discussions about discipline and the growing tension between players on the field.

Adding to the Stampede's concerns, Titsworth has been drawing negative attention off the field as well, reportedly influencing Bennett to engage in late-night outings. The rookie running back, known for his nightlife habits, has caught the eye of the coaching staff, and while no formal disciplinary action has been taken yet, the team is expected to weigh in on both the altercation and Titsworth's off-field behavior as they approach the preseason opener. With Titsworth's influence becoming a potential problem, the coaching staff will need to decide how to manage his role both on and off the field.

On top of these issues, veteran wide receiver Mac Richard has found himself in a less-than-ideal situation. The 8-year veteran was cited for speeding in a school zone earlier this week. While the traffic violation doesn't seem like a major offense, Richard's status as one of the more experienced players on the team makes the incident disappointing. The veteran receiver has already issued an apology and paid the fine, but his actions have added to the growing list of distractions for the Stampede. Richard's behavior, while minor compared to his younger teammates, serves as a reminder that no player is above reproach when it comes to maintaining the team's image.

With the team's first preseason game looming, head coach Vince Hunter and the Stampede's front office are under pressure to address these distractions and refocus the team's energy on the field. The combination of Palmer's casino visits, the Bennett-Titsworth-Turner scuffle, and Richard's traffic violation has created a sense of unease in camp. Whether these issues are quickly resolved or continue to linger could play a significant role in the Stampede's ability to find success in their inaugural season in Madrid.

As the Stampede's leadership prepares to make decisions regarding discipline, all eyes are on how these incidents will shape the team's chemistry and cohesion going forward. With training camp winding down, the team will need to find a way to eliminate off-field distractions and come together if they hope to make an impact in the competitive HIFL landscape.

PORTLAND BREWERS ROOKIES EMBRACE "SMARTER FOOTBALL" PHILOSOPHY, PRAISE TEAM'S APPROACH

PORTLAND -- As the Portland Brewers gear up for the upcoming HIFL season, the team's emphasis on their "Smarter Football" philosophy is drawing praise from rookies across the roster. Designed to focus on mental preparation, situational awareness, and strategic decision-making, the approach has been a cornerstone of head coach Doug Wade and GM Josh Underpants' vision for the franchise. With rookies embracing the concept, the entire team's football IQ is said to be rising, setting the Brewers up for success on and off the field.

First-round pick and quarterback James McCoy, out of Georgia, highlighted how the philosophy has helped him make the transition to the pros. "Coach Wade and GM Underpants really put an emphasis on understanding the game at a deeper level," McCoy said. "They're not just teaching us how to throw or run routes—they're teaching us why we do it in certain situations. It's all about making the right decisions in the heat of the moment. I've definitely become a smarter player because of it." The QB noted that this intellectual approach has given him confidence heading into his rookie season, feeling more in control of the game and its nuances.

Second-round pick Guillermo Harvey, a cornerback from Kentucky, echoed McCoy's sentiments. "It's a whole different ballgame when you focus on the mental side," Harvey said. "In college, we played fast and physical, but here, they're teaching us how to think the game through. It's about understanding schemes, knowing how offenses will try to attack you, and being ready for it. That's what makes this team special—every player is getting better mentally, not just physically." With Wade and Underpants steering the ship, the Brewers are banking on their "Smarter Football" strategy to elevate the team in more ways than one this season.

MUTINEERS QB ARCHIBALD INVOLVED IN PUBLIC ALTERCATION WITH MEXICO CITY FAN

CANCUN -- As the Cancun Mutineers prepare for the upcoming HIFL season, starting quarterback Lindsay Archibald finds himself at the center of controversy after a public altercation with a fan at a team-sponsored event. The incident occurred during a charity meet-and-greet when a heckler, reportedly a fan of the newly formed Mexico City franchise, began taunting Archibald. The situation escalated when Archibald reacted verbally, and security had to intervene to defuse the altercation before it turned physical.

While no legal action was taken, the incident has drawn negative attention and put Archibald under scrutiny as he enters a critical season. The Mutineers' head coach, Jackson Rhodes has been known to take a no-nonsense approach, and there are questions about how he and GM Eli will handle the situation internally. Archibald's ability to keep his emotions in check has become a talking point, especially as the team looks to cement its standing in the HIFL amid growing competition in the league.

The Mutineers have yet to issue an official statement, but sources indicate that Archibald could face an internal punishment. As the team continues its preseason preparations, the focus now shifts to whether Archibald can shake off the distraction and lead Cancun to a successful season. With rising tensions between fans of the Mexico City and Cancun franchises, this incident adds a new layer of intensity to the rivalry before either team has even taken the field for the first time, unfortunately for us the two teams do not play this season barring a miraculous run to the Impact Bowl.

FOR SILVERBACKS QB2 HUDSON, THE FUTURE IS NOW AS QB REQUESTS TRADE OUT OF OAKLAND!

OAKLAND -- Oakland Silverbacks quarterback Daniel Hudson, entering his third season, is reportedly seeking a trade in search of a starting role. After being drafted in the 3rd round out of Mississippi, Hudson has spent his career backing up Keenan Daley, the team's MVP quarterback and Impact Bowl champion. Now 23, Hudson has been patient, learning under one of the league's best, but with Daley showing no signs of slowing down at 29, Hudson believes it's time to carve his own path.

Sources close to Hudson indicate that he is ready to compete for a starting job and wants to find a team willing to give him that opportunity. While Oakland head coach Ricky Tarr and GM Gravedigger have publicly praised Hudson's development, they understand that the window for him to make an impact as a starter in Oakland is limited as long as Daley remains at the helm. The challenge now lies in finding a team willing to meet Oakland's demands in a potential trade while giving Hudson the shot he's been waiting for.

As the trade rumors swirl, Hudson's name is becoming one of the hottest in the quarterback market. Whether he moves this offseason or stays with the Silverbacks as Daley's backup for another season remains to be seen, but it's clear Hudson's patience is wearing thin, and he's ready to step out from Daley's shadow.

SILVERBACKS FIRST ROUND PICKS HEATED RIVALRY DOWNPLAYED BY HC TARR DESPITE FIST FIGHTS DURING TRAINING CAMP!

OAKLAND -- The Oakland Silverbacks' training camp has been marred by a heated feud between two of the team's top rookies: free safety Wilfred Williams, the 9th overall pick, and offensive guard Dennis Miller, drafted 19th overall. The two rookies have engaged in multiple scuffles, with punches thrown during three separate incidents, raising concerns among the coaching staff and teammates about the potential long-term impact on locker room chemistry.

Head coach Ricky Tarr has downplayed the situation publicly, calling it "a result of competitive spirits," but sources within the organization are more concerned. With Williams showing star potential on defense and Miller expected to anchor the offensive line, the team can't afford for this rivalry to spiral out of control. Some coaches are worried that the tension could continue beyond training camp and affect team cohesion during the regular season.

GM Gravedigger is said to have been monitoring the situation closely, as both rookies are key pieces of the Silverbacks' future. The challenge now is whether the coaching staff can get the two to focus their intensity on opponents rather than each other. With both players having bright futures ahead, resolving this conflict quickly could be essential to keeping the team on track for a successful season.

NIA USO ARRESTED AFTER FIGHTING GROUP OF WOMEN IN ATL NIGHT CLUB BATHROOM!

ATLANTA -- Nia Uso, the former FemFL player turned center for the Atlanta Underground, was arrested following an altercation at a popular Atlanta nightclub. The incident occurred after the team went out to celebrate the end of a successful training camp, where Uso had made significant progress transitioning to the center position. The celebration took an unfortunate turn when a confrontation in the nightclub's restroom escalated into a physical altercation.

According to eyewitnesses, the dispute began as a verbal argument between Uso and a group of women in the restroom, reportedly stemming from derogatory comments directed at Uso. The situation quickly escalated, resulting in a physical confrontation where Uso, due to her large stature and strength, overpowered several of the women. Police were called to the scene, and Uso was arrested on charges of assault. She was released on bail early the next morning.

The Atlanta Underground, led by head coach Archie Freese and GM Wesley Bennett, have yet to make an official statement regarding the incident, but sources within the organization indicate there are concerns about the negative attention this could bring to the team. As legal proceedings unfold, the team is evaluating how to handle the off-field distraction and its potential impact on team dynamics heading into the pre-season.

Uso's arrest comes just as she was solidifying her place as a key part of the Underground's offensive line. While her performance on the field has been praised, this incident raises questions about her future with the team. With the pre-season fast approaching, all eyes will be on how the organization responds and how Uso navigates the legal and professional challenges ahead.

LOVE BOAT?  AMSTERDAM'S WILKINSON, ANGELO AT THE HEART OF CONTROVERSIAL YACHT PARTY INCIDENT!

AMSTERDAM -- Amsterdam Smoke stars Jett Wilkinson and Sam Angelo, former teammates at the University of North Carolina and the 1st round pick of the Smoke in each of the past two years, find themselves in the spotlight for the wrong reasons after attending a controversial yacht party in Amsterdam. With pre-season preparations underway, the incident has sparked discussion within the organization as the team looks to move forward under new ownership.

The yacht party, organized by a figure with a reputation for unsavory business dealings and questionable affiliations, has raised concerns about Wilkinson's involvement. Sources suggest Wilkinson's attendance was linked to a personal sponsorship deal, one that was reportedly made without team approval. Given the organizer's controversial history, Wilkinson's association with the event is raising eyebrows among team leadership.

Things escalated when Angelo, the Smoke's first-round draft pick, became involved in a confrontation with event security. According to witnesses, Angelo was intoxicated and became verbally aggressive after being asked to leave a restricted area. Refusing to comply, Angelo's behavior threatened to escalate further until Wilkinson stepped in to calm the situation and convince his former college teammate to leave the event via a smaller boat before things got out of hand.

The Amsterdam Smoke, led by first year head coach head coach Michael May and GM Thad Bone, are expected to address the incident internally as they prepare for the upcoming season. Both players are seen as vital pieces of the team's future, making this off-field situation one to watch as the team navigates its early days under new ownership.

MARIACHIS PLAYERS ACCUSED OF LYING TO RECEIVE FREE MERCHANDISE FROM LOCAL BUSINESS!

DALLAS -- Three Dallas Mariachis players are facing scrutiny after a local upstart apparel company accused them of attempting to use their celebrity status to acquire free merchandise under false pretenses. Defensive tackle Joe Martino, rookie linebacker Emanuel Stephenson, and cornerback Anthony North allegedly misrepresented themselves as star players of the Mariachis to persuade the company to give them thousands of dollars in shoes and clothing.

According to sources close to the situation, the players approached the upstart apparel company DR3AMSTATUS, promising to promote the brand in exchange for free products. Martino, Stephenson, and North reportedly claimed they were key figures on the team, and the company, eager to boost its visibility, agreed to provide the merchandise. However, when the company later discovered that the three players were backups, not star players, they contacted the team, demanding compensation for the merchandise given.

The incident has raised concerns within the Mariachis organization, led by first-year GM Jake Cooley and second-year head coach Liam McKenna. The team has yet to make an official statement, but sources indicate that they are looking into the matter internally. As the pre-season approaches, this situation adds an unnecessary distraction for the young players involved, as they now face potential disciplinary action for misrepresenting themselves and dragging the team's name into the controversy.
