Wayne Wilkinson    Binkentios Melikis

Agent Tom Parker

Once again, rookie small forward Wayne Wilkinson is on the move AGAIN!. This time he has been traded to the Black Rock Scorpions. Wayne Wilkinson wasn't as upset, he told reporters he was psyched to be closer to his older brother Talon who plays in the HIFL for the Las Vegas Scorpions. His agent Tom Parker saw it differently, this is what he had to say

"...I've been a pretty even keel guy, but that doesn't seem to work well with these GM's. You know when Wayne was traded from D.C, I figured Manhattan would do well for Wayne's brand considering his brothers were major stars in the HIFL. I spoke to GM Gates about it as a professional courtesy and figured, new season, a lot of moving parts, but NOW, NOW! A 7th overall pick in the draft, to blatantly trade him a second time is an outright disregard for this young man's future. It's a disregard for GM and agent relationships and an outright abuse of power given to GM's. I am filing an injunction from to league to step in and start imposing fines for this type of maneuvering or start paying rookies more to cover the nonsense they have to go through. This is such lack professionalism towards rookie's and all players alike. My client just had to decline a home after putting a down payment in DC. NOW, he just put a down payment on a condo in Long Island which he now must hire lawyers to figure out how to get his money back from both places. At this point between the moving around and down payments, he almost starting to lose money. I am stating this now, to all GM"s. Do not attempt to trade any of my clients this season without contacting me first for permission or there will be more to worry about than just losing games"

"After a tremulous rookie season that saw former college standout Chris Stone fail to get drafted only to be given a chance by Black Rock saw his hopes dwindle even further. Last season, Chris Stone found himself signing a 2 year deal with the Scorpions only to be tossed out of preseason practice, buried on the depth chart and eventually deactivated. It was due to the intervention of GM Black Death who pulled Chris Stone aside, got him helped and demanded that 5 time coach of the year Niela Redeal give the young man a chance is the only reason Chris Stone starting emerging showing the potential many saw in college. Sources were saying that the constant losing was causing Chris Stone to fall further into depression as he started having melt downs blaming the organization for sabotaging his career. Soon after last season ended, Stone disappeared only reemerge with what some was calling, a chip the size of Navada on his shoulder. Well, all of that newfound motivation will have to find a new home as the only man who believed him, GM Black Death, released the young brash player today after a big trade saw Black Rock land Rookie PF forward sensation Wayne Wilkinson. GM Black Death could not be found for comment but sources claim authorities had to be called to the Rock to apprehend Chris Stone who was destroying company property in a tirade screaming that GM Black Death Betrayed him. His agent Tom parker who is currently filing an injunction against the GM's and the league for abuse of power and unprofessional business practices refused to speak only stating.

"I've had it with these GM's......."

B.K ROOKIE SUMMER CAMP

In it's pilot season, the Braswell/Karcher Rookie summer camp was a huge success. Coaches, owners and players throughout the league are praising the efforts of two of the greatest to players to the game for their rookie initiative but while many send praise, some GM's were not happy stating they believed Braswell staged the entire event to attract more clients to his own agency. One Agent who didn't want to be mentioned said ...

"......Why weren't agents allowed to watch. We were told our presence would create conflict of interest, yet from what I hear, Braswell never left the facility, held seminars and even gave instruction to players whereas one player decided to release his agent and sign on with Braswell. If you ask me, that in it's self is a conflict of interest. Braswell was a dirty player and now he's looking like a dirty agent."

Other agents refused to comment but the overall feelings were that, though this summer camp was beneficial that there needs to be guidelines between communication other agents or team representatives can have with players. Talks within the league offices are starting to think about expanding this summer league into a full-blown summer camp with games, standings and a summer league championship.

TEXAS AND MEXICO GO TO WAR, BUT THIS TIME, NOT AT THE ALAMO
Major Injury Scare in the first meeting this week between Texas and Mexico City. Kasey Babayaga having himself a game, already having put up 44 points was going for a dunk with under a minute to go with Texas already winning by nearly 20 points at home when Storm McCastle came from behind in what at first looked like an attempt to hit the ball out of KGB's hands but then grabbed onto Kasey bringing him down hard. The stadium erupted in boo's and the whistles were blown. Even with the technical foul being hadned to McCastle, that did not stop PF John Ohanlon from grabbing McCastle and taking a swing as both teams had to be separated. The fans began throwing debris at the Mexico City Bench and the ref and security had to step in. Between KGB having to be helped off the court, the fans needing to be settled down and court cleaned and the scrummage breaking out on the court between players the game was delayed for 22 minutes to finish what was left of the game. Ohanlon was ejected from the game and Mccastle was sent to the locker room with under a minute to go. KGB got up and walked off the court holding his arm to a sigh of relief and cheers. The Commissioner put out an extremely serious warning to both teams as Texas had to head down to Mexico City to play the second game later in the week. Coach Grimes did not let KGB travel in order to rest and undergo further test. initial reports stated KGB landed hard and got the wind was knocked out of him but coach Grimes was not going to chance playing his star player. Not having KGB in the second game made all the difference as Mexico City beat Texas by nearly the same point differential of their first meeting of the week. More Technicals were handed out when with under 20 seconds left, Jarred Anderson did a monster dunk and stared at the Texas while jogging back down the court which led to Texas Bench stepping on the court making obscene gestures towards jarred Anderson. Both teams received technicals for taunting. Alot more to come from this story as some are calling for a suspension of Storm McCastle and John Ohanlon. After last years rumble between Texas and Smokey Mountain the commissioner will have his hands full with what may become a PR nightmare between both teams and Kasey's dad, agent Krillin Babayaga. More fines are coming but will there be suspensions.

- Coaches in Oakland are becoming extremely frustrated stating they believe AIME is already trying to tank to build a better team through the draft. Zac Sheppard was heard saying he wants out of Oakland

- Magic in the Motor City as Fender and Lucas seem to be propelling Motor City to a 3-0 start and scoring at a record pace.

- Vancouver loses a heart breaker to Bar Harbor in the final .4 seconds of a great game. Larry Tart takes the blame and says he didn't get to Chadwick quick enough after he saw the defense break down.

- D.C Patriots find themselves at the top of the division in first place as owner Don Potus states "This team is the real deal, We aren't frauds like some other teams in this division"

- With the international basketball League getting ready to begin, teams are finalizing rosters. Ojn the eve of superstar center Zac Sheppard being traded, Eccentric super genius Eloy Tusk pulls the plug on A.I.M.E appointing former head coach of Panama, Jarvis Isenhour the Gm position. he was also appointed the coach when Bowser Black walked out. Some fans are calling for Eloy to sell the team and bring normalcy to a franchise that has been on a rollercoaster since winning the WBS title. Eloy vows to bring stability in the form of a new GM by next season. When asked why the sudden shift with A.I.M.E Eloy shared his toughts

"Most times I sit back and am the overseer of all things Oakland Hustle. I did not step in when A.I.M.E released Sherman Thorton without retaining any compensation. I had to trust the process. I built and programmed A.I.M.E to make the right choices for long term success. A.I.M.E acquired us over 3 first round picks during the draft which lead me to believe things were working perfectly. After losing our head coach, Bowser Black due to disagreements with roster construction, I started seeing the percentage of possible trades, here I am watching the offers come in with Jarvis and there are clearly a few players he would like to add or offers he prefers but A.I.M.E's percentage tracker of acceptability was choosing deals none of the coaches wanted. I was not going to stand back and Watch Jarvis, Robinson and Baloney walk out the door. I had to step in. After I disconnected A.I.M E I realized a firewall I had in place had been breached and a code was changed, I'm not sure if this was an oversight, if this was A.I.M.E recoding herself and evolving or were we hacked. I am currently working with my cyber security team to track down the culprit. Until then Oakland fans can rest ashore a human will be running things from this point on"
