GM Eli

We have a 7 player game of Secret Hitler. Here are some specifics to remember about 7 players:

There are 4 liberals, 2 fascists, and a secret hitler who is on the fascist team.

Presidential Powers in this game when fascist policies are played:
1st - None
2nd - Policy Peek
3rd - Special Election
4th - Kill
5th - Kill and Veto Power unlocked

Things true in every game:

The deck contains 6 liberal (blue) and 11 fascist (red) policies.
Everyone votes for government even if you're in it. Majority rules so in this case 4 yes votes approves a government. All you need to do at any time in its own post or a separate one is Vote: Yes/No (Vote: Yes)
If it ain't bolded I ain't counting it. Once a president picks a chancellor, you get 24ish hours to vote. TO BE CONSISTENT WITH BOTH THE ORIGINAL GAME AND TO BE KIND TO NEW PLAYERS, NO UNVOTING. A VOTE CAST IS SET IN STONE AS A VOTE
3 consecutive governments that fail to be approved result in the top policy of the deck being played.
All policy draws will be through private communication.
President always goes in order. If you were in a government the previous turn you cannot be in government the next turn unless you were chancellor and its suddenly your turn to be president.

Any questions, please message me on the boards or on discord.

----

It's night time in Germany and once again the fascists are up to no good. Can YOU stop the Secret Hitler?

----

Seating Order for the game:

Franchise
Pancho
Kirk
Doug
Powers
Oldfield
Talon

Therefore...to save time, Talon is first president. You first goal to get the game started is to publicly nominated a chancellor for government.

Lets go!

GM Pancho

GM Eli

Correction: Franchise is the first President. Forgot to change that on the C&P from a previous game.

GM Mike Powers

As always, I believe that the people at the furthest end of the table from the start should get the first nod as Chancellor. That'd be me, Oldfield, or Talon.

GM Dougie

Its always a crapshoot to start the game. The mod told me I'm playing as a liberal this game so you know, you can pick me or you can't. Let's play!

Talon

GM Franchise

Got my role.

I'm fine with either of those options.

Ditto to this.  Given the card advantage fascist has - it's not in our best interest to play off the top of the deck.

So which one are you going to pick?

I got my role sorry I'm late.

Wake up people.

With this vote the government of Franchise/Oldfield has been voted in. No talking please.

GM Eli

The government has met and have enacted a...

Fascist Policy

In a 7 player game there is no presidential power to resolve on the first fascist policy. We may move on.

Talking may resume. Pancho is now President. Franchise and Oldfield are ineligible to be Chancellor..

GM Franchise

I got three reds, discarded one.

GM Oldfield

I had two reds and discarded one.

GM Kirk

GM Dougie

Lame. Keeping count. If there's ever a good time to lie it's on the first draw.

GM Pancho

Not sure there isn't ever a good time to lie though - but let's get on with it.

I nominate Talon.

GM Franchise

Yeah, I'll remember this if this happens with your turn later in the game.

Disagree, halfway through makes more sense. Makes it harder to pinpoint who did it. If there's any card count issues it'll happen then.

GM Mike Powers

No reason not to, so...

Vote yes

With this vote we have a confirmed government. No talking please.

Liberal Policy

The liberals draw even with the score now being 1 Fascist policy passed, and 1 Liberal policy passed.

Talking may resume. Kirk is now President. Pancho and Talon are ineligible to be Chancellor..

Talon

Talon

GM Pancho

Talón is correct. I discarded a red.

GM Oldfield

So that's 4 red and 2 blue drawn

GM Pancho

Kirk where are you leaning?

GM Kirk

Not Franchise.  Maybe test out Oldfield, or go late again. What do you think?

GM Kirk

Can't go Doug and give him two bites of the cherry. I don't trust Franchise. Talon and Pancho are not available. So it's Powers or Oldfield for his 2nd go.

GM Oldfield

I'm obviously happy to go again hopefully cards like me this time round. Equally powers going makes sense too. Would vote yes for either government.

I don't really have a read on anyone this early. Maybe on of Pancho or Franchise as it's easiest for them to lie about the cards.

GM Eli

24 Hour warning to form a government or the Presidency will pass to the next person at the table

Deadline - 12:15 pm eastern on Wednesday, May 29th.

GM Dougie

Kirk, its Franchise or Powers imo.

You're right...you don't pick me as I'm next.

Powers is the only player so far outside of you and myself not in a government yet so there's information you can gather if you go that route.

Alternatively, you don't test Oldfield, you test Franchise. If Oldfield lied right away and Franchise knew, he'd call him on it unless they're on the same team. The better person to test from the first government in this scenario IMO is the president not the chancellor. If Oldfield had 2 reds, then either 3 were drawn OR a blue got discarded by Franchise. We only have what they tell us to go off of so there's more to learn.

GM Franchise

I don't trust you either so the door swings both ways there especially with the distrust you're attempting to sew based on my card draw.

Do whatever you want for the Chancellor, just quit stalling because this seems like a lot of stalling since you already narrowed down your choices to two players already.
