I was stating to figure out who was playing a role. Then you came along with some crazy 6 am vote. Powers voted me for something I have never seen, a modding the mod vote which tells me he used that to put a vote on me because he had nothing else and after I joined Doug in questioning Franchise, Franchise put a vote on me for no other reason and we all know how reactive Franchise is. Each person put a vote on me with no real reason to do or some weak reason except you who I called out early and then suddenly all your minions came out to protect you.

I've seen people say this in numerous games but I've never understood it. What's the scum advantage/motivation in posting so far after deadline in a game where that is penalized?

Not saying Oldfield is or isn't scum, just trying to understand how that specifically is a tell.

I believe the root of the idea, thinking back to years past when mafia was more prevalent, was that scum don't pay as close attention to the game as town do, because they don't have to scumhunt. So missing details or deadlines et cetera was a scumtell. But I agree, the logic is pretty flawed. Good job, Powers! You're so smart!

The deadline post was clear as day. C'mon, man! You're right about that. It's off much like the Final Fantasy Mafia Fallout is still off the boards if you know what I mean. Anyways good call on the missing deadline post. The fact two people did it is mind boggling to me.

Unfortunately I am not confident enough right now to vote for Eli, but I just don't want to sit on that concept and it come out later in the game and Im cursing from the dead thread about it.  The only concern I have is one I'll leave unsaid until I hear it come up in discussion, as to not provide an easy way out.

Franchise seems an odd choice. Usually someone to keep around to cause chaos later. Two good kills for giving us no information. Ed signed his own death warrant and Franchise feels like a random choice. Can someone other than Talon explain how Oldfield got so close to being lynched? Was it just follow the leader?

I already spoke to the mod about this when it even happened. I was using my phone at the time while I was at work and thought I had enough time to get a post in. When I made the post I did get a notifcation that there was a new post before i posted but it was for when Talon posted. I posted my reply and it was at the same time the mod made the deadline post. I explained this to the mod as soon as it happened, I actually thought I fucked up and was going to be DQ'd. Luckily enough I was just given a PR for the day as my punishment.

I don't think I needed to explain myself to anyone but the mod but since it was brought up I figured it was only fair to explain what happened in my situation.

Franchise seems an odd choice. Usually someone to keep around to cause chaos later. Two good kills for giving us no information. Ed signed his own death warrant and Franchise feels like a random choice. Can someone other than Talon explain how Oldfield got so close to being lynched? Was it just follow the leader?

I'm also quite confused on why Franchise was chosen, it's a very strange decision by scum. Not sure what they're thinking process is with that. Only thing I could think of is Franchise admitting he was vanilla town from the get go. Other than that I just don't get it.

I voted for Stevie (Oldfield) similar to why I voted for Ed. Just get a weird vibe from em, I thought it was very weird and random as to why he voted for me all while arguing with Talon prior. We never had a back and forth argument to determine that I in fact deserved a vote against me. Didn't get why that happened so it struck me as highly suspect.

To be having an argument with someone else in the same post and to cast a vote on someone else at random, seemed to me like he was trying to shift attention to someone else to possibly save himself?

Game is stalling. I think the players who magically went inactive once Oldfield got three votes might be worth looking at the next day phase if he comes up as scum.

Could be a reach and pure speculation but I'm wondering if this had something to do with scum choosing Franchise?

I'm still very suspicious of Stevie atm so until I'm convinced otherwise my vote remain on him.

Pretty sad we can't even reach a lynch in this game so far, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised.. I told you this would all end in tears.

Good question. My guess would be that In a game of 11  there may be only 3 Mafia scam and they already tried to jump on the bandwagon and press home the advantage. Powers fits the bill nicely.
