We have a 7 player game of Secret Hitler. Here are some specifics to remember about 7 players:

There are 4 liberals, 2 fascists, and a secret hitler who is on the fascist team.

Presidential Powers in this game when fascist policies are played:
1st - None
2nd - Policy Peek
3rd - Special Election
4th - Kill
5th - Kill and Veto Power unlocked

Things true in every game:

The deck contains 6 liberal (blue) and 11 fascist (red) policies.
Everyone votes for government even if you're in it. Majority rules so in this case 4 yes votes approves a government. Vote: Yes/No If it ain't bolded I ain't counting it. Once a president picks a chancellor, you get 24ish hours to vote.
3 consecutive governments that fail to be approved result in the top policy of the deck being played.
All policy draws will be through private communication.
President always goes in order. If you were in a government the previous turn you cannot be in government the next turn unless you were chancellor and its suddenly your turn to be president.

Any questions, please message me.

----

It's night time in Germany and once again the fascists are up to no good. Can YOU stop the Secret Hitler?

----

Seating Order for the game:

Fosters
Lucas
Eli
Franchise
Josh
Oldfield
Pancho

Therefore...to save time, Fosters is first president. You first goal to get the game started is to publicly nominated a chancellor for government.

Lets go!

GM Eli

Role received

I suggest Pancho for our first chancellor.

GM Oldfield

Role received. Pancho is a good shout. Anyone that side of the table really.

GM Franchise

Got my role and I agree about Pancho being a good option for first chancellor as well.

GM Pancho

I accept and also think I am a good choice despite table position.

GM Fosters

Got my role. I agree, Pancho seems like a good shout.

Nominate Pancho as Chancellor

Government Fosters/Pancho

Yes - 2
No - 0

4 yes votes are needed to progress. Deadline is 2pm EST tomorrow but hopefully you get that shit done sooner.

GM Josh

GM Pancho

GM Dougie

We are in policy phase. No talking please!

GM Dougie

The government has met and have enacted a...

Liberal Policy

Talking may resume. Lucas is now next president. Fosters and Pancho are ineligible to become chancellor.

GM Fosters

Straight up, I got given 2 reds and a blue. I discarded a red and gave Pancho the choice of a red and a blue.

Thankfully he passed a blue.

GM Pancho

Can confirm I was given a choice between red and blue and played Blue

GM Eli

Will try and keep track of this. But, if what we are being told is true then the deck should have

9 reds and 5 blues left.

I am in favor of sticking with the "toward the end of the table" policy for chancellor again which would put Oldfield in play this round. He's my suggestion.

GM Lucas

GM Eli

I'm obviously in favor of myself being the chancellor because I know I'm a liberal, but because of the amount of power it could potentially place in my hands early in the game, I'm going to let the rest of the table decide on this one and withhold my vote.

I nominate Eli for Chancellor

Any reasoning for this?

I get this but I think it's still a bit of a gamble this early in the game. We haven't even figured out who's lying about their cards which usually happens later on but still a bit of a gamble this early.

GM Dougie

Voting for Lucas/Eli may now begin. You have until 8am EST tomorrow morning. No official votes have been cast yet. You can continue to talk during voting phase.

It's probably just me being overly paranoid but it was an odd choice by Ed as I'm the next president in line and it makes me feel like I'm being set up. I have zero evidence to support that other than the uneasy feeling I get about it. Which is why I'd rather let the rest of the group decide on this one.

GM Lucas

I just liked that you wanted to keep track, I was like ok, someone stepping up, let's get him in the box

GM Pancho

Vote: Yes to government

Have to trust people until we can't

GM Dougie

We are currently at 3 official yes votes (because people aren't good at bolding)

GM Fosters

GM Dougie

We are now in government phase. No talking please

GM Dougie

The government has met and have enacted a...

Fascist Policy

In a 7 player game there is no presidential power to resolve on the first fascist policy. We may move on.

Talking may resume. Eli is now president. Lucas is ineligible to become chancellor.

GM Oldfield

So what did everyone get and what did Ed find out?

GM Fosters

Ouch! We're going to need to hear what went down! What did you get given Ed? and what did you receive Eli?

GM Oldfield

Sorry just seen the rules we don't get to find out anything with the first policy.

GM Eli

I was given 2 reds.

Any suggestions for chancellor? Any volunteers?

GM Fosters

I'd suggest Pancho, he's just far enough away before being president and he's already passed one blue policy when he had the choice of both.

GM Oldfield

I am happy to be chancellor but can also get behind a Pancho vote as he's already got us one blue

GM Eli

If everything we know is true so far the deck should have:

7 reds 5 blues.

I assume Ed will say he discarded a red so that would make 6 reds 5 blues.

And I agree with those suggestions and the reasoning so.

Nominate Pancho for Chancellor

GM Dougie

Voting for Eli/Pancho may now begin. You have until 10:30am EST tomorrow morning. No official votes have been cast yet. You can continue to talk during voting phase.

Lol and now you know why I was questioning about the nominations earlier. I don't trust anybody in these games until I know I can trust them.

Agreed, after that last round he's the only logical  option to go with after what just happened.

Liberal Policy

Talking may resume. Franchise is now next president. Eli and Pancho are ineligible to become chancellor.

GM Eli

I was given a red and 2 blues.

I discarded the red and gave Pancho 2 blues.

GM Eli

This puts the deck at:

6 reds 3 blues remaining if everyone has told the truth. -1 more card depending on what Ed discarded when he was President.

GM Franchise

I'll be interested to see what cards I get with how things are playing out.

GM Pancho

If you are taking recommendations Franchise pick Fosters as Chancellor - see if he has the same stuff as a Chancellor that he did as a president
