Top card was red. The random.org reshuffles were ridiculous. That last draw honestly could have been 3 reds but a blue came back. I have the deck saved on my work laptop so I'll share all that when I can.

Also everyone should know Eli had practically everything in the game figured out except Pancho.

Think we both have to own that. I might have read everything else well, but my read on you was off and that's as much a reason we lost as anything else.

As you can see, horrible discard reshuffle for the liberals. That top blue went in with the 6th draw and then the 7th draw had the other 2 so no matter what happened, draws 8 and 9 both would be 3 reds. Now draw 9 never happened so when doing a 2nd shuffle of the discards a blue was on top that went into the final draw that Pancho got.

Here is what should have been the play of the game:

If the next card to be played is blue we can decline the government 3 times in a row and then the next card up will be played as the policy.

This was important and the liberals should have played this because its a win/win. Either you get your final blue OR you out Oldfield as a liar because he said in a round about way that blue was on top. I complimented Eli on this privately.

The oddball playstyle of the game was by far Franchise. But you can't insult him because it worked to a tee. I was surprised he didn't try to just say Pancho gave him 3 reds. At that point it was completely possible as there was only a 20% chance that 6th draw was gonna have a blue in it. AND Eli already had mistrust in Pancho so the 3 fascists had an extra on their side technically. But what was most surprising is that Franchise was clear and obviously fascist from there on and it wasn't a focal point at all. Fosters should have gotten more heat than he did for not killing Franchise.

Ed asking to be nominated was not a reason to call him fascist. Anyone going after him for that was just poor play.

There's always luck of the draw in this game but there was definitely some good play and some questionable play but regardless of the result this was by far the best game of Hitler we've had on the forums. My only regret was that it was only a 7 player game instead of 9 or 10.

I agree with what Talon said. These games are great even though I haven't been on the winning side often lol.

And so the game really was lost on the Pancho/Franchise hand when we chose to not just vote down the governments. But still could have been won had we picked a liberal chancellor then instead of Hitler.

That stings but you gotta give credit to the scum team. They fought back and earned their win.
